@@mcdull68 in trenches it should in do very little due to 'dugouts' and helmets. However in more vulnerable moments such as transporting troops with easy terrain should do more. Artillery should do more damage to more troops that are close together because of overcrowding. Tbh I don't know much so...

@@Hg-vl6fk well, you can if you want to, but I always get a head start developing because of an increase in mp and money from tax which will go up with stability, factories do increase tax collection but if you're a country with not many resources you'd need to buy them. Then if that country collapses you have to find a different country. Also if you go in debt you automatically lose all those trades. Overall developing is more of a full proof method that doesn't rely on other nations.

@@borislio7100 I would recommend you practice on public servers, it's normally harder but you learn much quicker, and more naturally. Also I'm often busy, like right now

@@YourLocalGamingLad well, the policies and leaders are pretty easy to look out for, if you hover you mouse (or on mobile if you hold) over the leader/policy it shows their effect. For military leaders it's quite simple, for beginners I would recommend either an attack, defence or upkeep (how much it costs to maintain your units) buffs. Political leaders are more complex, I personally don't use them because in my opinion policies leave more space for expanding your economy and military as well as stability. However leaders do give more smaller buffs for less political power (like a currency for political things). Now, a leader is best when it fits your ideology, less chance of them getting corrupt. I don't know much more but I will say that ones that boost the economy, military or political power give more choice. With more money you can increase spending on different areas such as military, technology earning and stability as well as anti corruption which you spend when you get corruption. If you choose a military leader it only improves military capabilities, if it reduces upkeep it can help your economy but not by much. If you choose a leader that gives you more political power then you can use it on more leaders or policies. Remember policies and leaders also need upkeep so make sure that you don't lose any political power, if you reach 0 all leaders and policies are dismissed. Policies often cost more upfront and to maintain, however they can't become corrupt like a leader so they can be 'safer'. They can have negative effects, which depending on your position, could be bad, or worse. I'll give you an example, I personally use the neutrality act in late game when I'm not stable, it improves stability and tax income as well as resistance but it takes 4 times longer to justify war on a country. Some policies like the first research one only improves research output with no negative effects. This could be accompanied with a liberation act for stability and military for, well, military. Ideologies also give good and bad effects but usually cost more upfront but they need no upkeep. If you have any questions just ask.

@@haxbritania5942 well, I use the specialization doctrine for mountain, because there's lots of mountains in Italy. I do that to the max then when I get 300 military power I get a military leader. At the start of the game I get research tech but then I move on to infantry, the trick is to do a bit of infantry and a bit of anti tank. I also use the neutrality act policy but idk if that does much. Also, very important, when I go in an intense battle I max out military spending. Hope this helps!

@@MemeAsylumFan No I did that but it's sped up so it's hard to see. The thing is I only use it in intense battles because otherwise it ruins your economy
