People fail to understand that when a musician is doing a tribute to a musician that has passed away, they aren't trying to sound like them, they are honoring them.

Matt is singing a lot more backups here. Dave Grohl talked about how much of a music nerd Taylor was and how he was often pulling up to the studio blasting Soundgarden in his car. I just *know* Taylor was the one who was encouraging Matt to do every harmony and call and response in the outro because they were details he loved. You can see in the body language here what good buddies those two were. RIP Taylor and RIP Chris

What some people fail to understand, regarding the tributes for people, the ones doing the tributes, are not trying to replicate the deceased person, they are showing respect.

Taylor did a awesome Job RIP brother but im telling you I can hit all of chris notes , I can do many voices Robert Plant ,Steven Tyler ,Bon Scotts voice is a fav but im just a fan of good music and would do it just to celebrate Chris Life ,I loved his voice so much but its goes way back to the first time Led Zeppelin came out in 68 ,then Areosmiths Rocks album which taught me to control my voice or was going to lose it ,yes im 61 years old but Music is my passion being a Commercial Electrican fed the family so theres that retired now so I build and repair guitars now and amps, life is Good ,I have no regrets Im Happy and retired and the kids are gone and I have Grands to spoil
