    I like this idea, simple with less to throw off the 90 degree setting. One question: do you find the 1/4" base rigid enough to remain flat on the table when under the toggle clamp pressure? Thanks.

    • @ltscustomwoodworks4052
      @ltscustomwoodworks4052 4 месяца назад

      hello thanks yes it stays flat 100 percent with the toggle pressure ive had no issues and you dont need alot off pressure with the toggle it has a good hold down with decent pressure

    I live in the Great Lake state and have built one of these before without a plan…… I want to incorporate these builds in my new shop, and stumbled across this dude. 👆🏽. He looks a little disheveled, but so do I 🤷🏽‍♂️. He’s one of the most underrated builders on RUclips. This build is beautiful and thoroughly explained the whole way through. Keep kicking butt my man! There are people that dig your stuff. Sending love from West Michigan.

    @11:02 was there a screw up? the cut was no where even close to the line that you drew?

    • @Carrpocalypse
      @Carrpocalypse 7 месяцев назад

      I thought the same, but I blew it up and watched it carefully and saw that on one of the 20 degree cuts, the top of the blade didn't start at the line, it met the line. I experimented on a scrap piece of wood yesterday and it worked as demonstrated. Now, I'm trying to wrap my mind around how he used a flush trim router on the last 20 degree cut. I can probably jig something up and use a straight cut bit if I think of it as a 90 degree angle based on the first 20 degree cut...

    That's amazing you made that in your shop. I just got one priced out mahogany for a restaurant, they usually use a moulding machine with special knives. It was $800 for the custom knife profile and another $200 to cut it for 32'. You saved a good deal of money doing it on your own, great job!
