Anna Maria Island UPDATE -Hurricane Helene

After passing the lower and central west coast of Florida, Helene impacted the Big Bend region of northern Florida as a category 4 Hurricane. Along its path it created strong surge and wind that affected Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. ONE WEEK after, this community is still struggling and will continue the clean up. Roads are still closed in parts of the island with curfews in effect.
