Starring John Pospichal & Damon Hawks I guess I made two different versions. I have no idea why, but the music is different, and the video quality is better on this one.

Starring Olga Pospichal & Gregory May Grandma (Olga) did this little attention getting 'dance' in front of the camera at Easter (see "Easter, 1990" video), and I set it to Madonna's Vogue, where I am the DJ, and she is on the dance floor! The original final cut degraded too much to enjoy on the old video cassette, but I found all my raw takes, and was able to re-edit it! Still the video shows s...

It Hasn't Grown much in 50 Years. Good old Riverslow
Gracias por compartir ❤ esos Años tan Lindos que nunca volveran. Estos recuerdos me traen lagrimas a los ojos😢.
Man takes me back to my teenage years my family had a gold claim not too far from there off of Italian bar rd. My old stomping grounds we still go once a year
4th of july was everywhere and everyday on this year 1976 From 1/1/1976 to 12/31/1976 , The spirit of 76 was in all places!!!!!!
I was in 6th grade at Highland Elementary, living in Riverside during the filming of this. What a glorious time to be alive and living in California. My, but how this poor state has fallen 😢
I go to this school and to me it’s so cool to see what it looked like in the past I’m an 8th grader so I’ll be leaving the school soon but it’s still cool to see and hear about what it looked like
I don't see any homeless LOL
I got back from downtown today,(the area filmed in the video) and ughhhh it is just filled with homeless crackheads everywhere. They become way more active at night there's no escape from them.
@@funfofathat's just about every major city nowadays Bub. I'm from Hacienda heights, a middle class to wealthy area . It now has the Zombie drugged out dwelling homeless, So does Whittier, El Monte , La Puente, Azusa , Covina . From all these city's to Pomona to Riverside, Fontana Bloomington especially San Bernardino. It's bad all over.
Hey! I'd love to use this footage in a documentary I'm working on about Ciro's - my email is in my bio!
I go there and seeing this is scary
Why?
I go here too!
i hope your dad’s team’s house is still intact!
That don't look like 1985
why?
Did the rainbow bar n grill exist in 62?
Awesome! I never miss a Mike Cummins film!
Yeah, it's 1965, because Michigan and Oregon State were in the 1965 Rose Bowl and the BIG 1968 was just for the fact that Mexico was hosting the 1968 Summer Olympics.
This is the thanksgiving just after the Kennedy assassination... that could explain the mood!
Wasn't that a joy ride! Seriously why get together if you can't fake it a little bit?

Fantastic quality. Thanks so much for sharing.
So cool back then. Modern day is so lame & fake/boring
I love that everyone wore suits and nice dresses. WOW. This is one tradition I think we have lost that is very much missing.
Cool to see Ciro's which I read about in auto and biographies on the stars
I saw Harrisburg but not Boston
Alleyntown
WOW!! That's when Six Flags Magic Mountain still had a Beautiful Charm to it. But I'm REALLY SURPRISED that you didn't show any kind of footage of Colossus. It was The Biggest and Baddest Rollercoaster in 1985. It would have been Awesome to have gotten a POV video as well. Colossus was Absolutely Awesome back in those days, definitely Awesome enough to be filmed as The Screemy Meemy in National Lampoon's Vacation, and Revolution was The Whipper Snapper.🤣🤣 Also during the year you filmed the video Magic Mountain used to give Colossus the proper Maintenance and TLC. It was my favorite Rollercoaster at the park. Not a fan at all of Twisted Colossucks.
I grew up in Riverside California went to Ramona high school freshman sophomore year parents moved in Moreno Valley California and I graduated from Moreno Valley high school 1981 now I live up in the central valley of California near Fresno California a little town called Lemoore California known for the Navy base in Naval Air Station Lemoore and Harris Ranch
I went to North high school , then went to Poly......,76-77 . I remember keg parties every weekend
Well, no matter how you see their faces, remember at this time they were just coming to grips with Kennedy being slain only a week or two earlier!
They would fix the facades of the buildings and the valet park the hell out of it, if your hubcaps could be repainted properly
The young gal on the couch looks like she is having too much fun.
She looks like I used to feel. " I DON'T want to be here." " I'd MUCH rather be out with my friends."
The final era of super 8 film. (As in being widely used for home movies, not for weird hobbyists like me who like to keep old formats alive)
Interesting that you would comment on Valerie's actual birthday.
Video was a horrible 'replacement.' So many tapes from the VHS cameras have had many problems. Film holds up over the test of time.
@@MyFamilysHomeMovies That is true. Sure videotape was more instant and convenient, but film has better picture quality than analog video of that time. You can get your film scanned and it can look really good. Can’t say that about video of the 80s and 90s.

He sold it. They say he was lazy but when you see all his work through the years, you realized he worked very hard to achieve what he got.
Dino was far from lazy......he made everything looks so easy, thats just being cool....
I was born and raised in Riverside. I remember when it was proposed to close Main and develop the mall. It was pretty controversial at the time since it meant re-routing traffic and the businesses there dealing with the loss of patrons since they had to park blocks away and walk. Business dropped dramatically and a number of them closed. I remember Pic N Save and Kress being there but most of it died out. It was rather quiet for quite a while then a number of corporations established offices and others constructed high rise and more moved in. However by that time most were gone to Magnolia Center and out near the new Tyler Mall. What is now the Riverside museum was the Riverside police department. It was next to the Congregational church at 7th & Lemon. The downtown library was built in 1965, replacing the Mission style Carnegie library.
NEED NAMES OF HEART DOCTORS IN RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA FROM 1960'S AND 1970'S
Nice to see Riverside most treasured asset. Fortunately the film can't show you how the smog burned your eyes nose and lungs like it did at my home in LaSierra '
What a somber Thanksgiving that must have been. It seems to come through this 🎥 film. President Kennedy was assassinated just mere days before.
We had those same little pink bowls the boys had for their ice cream.
Editing certainly wasn't a thing back then-thank goodness. You just see a FAMILY. How beautiful is that?! ☺️
Loved it. Look at all those evil eyes. NOT THE Brady Bunch!

Crazy to think its 1985 and the kids in this video are about 15 years old ... Today they are 50 years old ...
Thanks for the painful reminder.
