My belief in Jesus Christ and the biblical teachings of the Bible continues to be a guide through a world that seems to be getting morally darker each day. Riding a motorcycle for many is also a way to express a sense of Freedom that can only be appreciated with the exhilaration that comes from cracking the throttle! Sunday 22nd September 2024 saw Royal Enfield Riders from wider Brisbane and suburbs, Toowoomba & the Sunshine Coast gather at Toogoolawah for the Royal Enfield ONERIDE24. I believe the bike count was 110 in attendance of various years, models & cc's. Of course with each bike come the unique characters who own, ride and enjoy these wonderful machines.

Recently I was introduced to Campbells Pocket Rd . On this ride there were two 2019 Royal Enfield Interceptors and a 2023 Royal Enfield 650 Meteor. While on a solo run along the Brooloo - Kenilworth Rd this awesome truckie used their right indicator to let me know that the road was clear to pass, Thanks. [reminded me of NZ] BTW, when a Semi is passing you, you can help the driver by flashing your lights when its safe for him/her to pull back into the lane in front of you. If they do see you do this, normally they will thank you by flashing...

When I say a "Surprise Visit from Toko" I wasn't kidding. Just after 6:00am I heard his ring tone on my phone but I was taking care of my wife who has a Disability. My phone rang again as I was taking Gem a cup of tea, she said who's that, I said it's Toko. Gem said you had better phone him back, I said yes I will now that you have had your back & shoulder rub etc. Then I hear a Harley go past and I say to Gemma, that sounds like Toko's HD? As I am walking into the lounge room it sounded like it stopped in a car park not far from our unit. So I walk out onto the road and yep there he is, so I yell out Hoi! Hard case alright because all he knew was that we were now living close to our previous address and he took a punt and it paid off for both of us lol 😆 😆 BTW, in a phone call over a week ago I had said to him, ah well, I'll see you next year bro. His reply, nuk. And I never thought anymore about it lol😉
