I adore this story. Some favorite lines from the beginning, "“Be honest, Ron. If neither of us had ever met Harry, do you think we would have still been best friends at Hogwarts?”" What a perfect way to describe why Hermione and Ron don't work, for me, as a couple, they share nothing in common that didn't come about because of Harry. I can't imagine what they would ever talk about at home, do together, just don't fit and this line just sums it up so well. Or first time under the love potion, "“Tell me you love me.” Hermione froze. She didn’t expect that. She looked at him, really looked. He had a pained expression. His brow was knitted and his body was tense, waiting. She melted at his sentimentality." How lonely and isolated must he had felt how bereft of love and affection that he needs to hear this from her. How he just needs love. Poor broken Draco but he gets better.

I really enjoyed reading this one! It was a quick read even for myself, a slow reader. I just wanted to share that I do think that it could make sense for Hermione to leave all of a sudden two days after finding out she is pregnant in this fanfic. There is only so much trauma a person can go through before the calm collected exterior breaks. Also, Hermione was constantly the one fixing the problems in the cannon books. When it was her own problems she would hold it in and not reach out to Harry and especially not Ron until she had a solution. She would only come to them with solutions to problems. I can see Hermione thinking to herself, "I don't want to be a problem to Harry, he's already been through so much" and then also not wanting to deal with Ron after the terrible breakup in the fanfic. I can totally see how "problem solving" Hermione would just leave becasue to her that was the most logical and path of least resistance in her mind. And just leaving would also remove her from the pain of her parents memories not coming back. If her parents' memories had not still been obliviated I think it would have been very likely that she would have stayed. Also, the trauma she had of constantly being treated like filth and called slurs from the Malfoys for sure would play into wether or not she decided to run. Also, once she got into the routine of daily life and learning to be a parent on her own, it is very easy to continue on for years and not get around to telling people back in England especially in a wizarding world where they're not using telephones and other ways of fast quick communication. Even back in the early 2000's technology. Anyways, thanks for reading my TedTalk. lol. This was such a fun listen! I am looking forward to the next episode. :)
