Hi Donald. I HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM. Within a few minutes my goflex home slows down almost impossible to work with. File transfer and video streaming are obviously impossible. File viewing as your video shows takes more than 30 seconds. Did you ever solve the problem?

I have used several of these. With a wired LAN connection (through a 1Gb/s router), I see about 45MB/s. Wireless-N sustained speeds with a good connection are 6.7MB/s. I would guess at two possible problems in your case. If your connection is wireless, maybe the signal strength is too low, That can drop PC-to-router (and thus to NAS) speeds to 0.3MB/s or less. Or the drive may be overheating and malfunctioning. All the Seagate GoFLex products are notorious for their poor ventilation and excessive internal temperatures. I actually came to RUclips today to find a tutorial on opening the case because I intend to drill ventilation holes. One of my units is occasionally dropping out of the network - even while being accessed - and I've run out of other ideas.

check SuperMetal Lee for a young Rooster cranking in the 80's G-Force band. Those guys could lay it down back then...Ac/Dc to ZZ Top. Top of the Line originals. They should have been recognized for sure....btw, make sure you turn it way up for the full effect.
