Hi I'm ice. this is my first vid so be nice.
ayy i got glasses when i was 19 :) (i barely use them though)
Good job!!!^^
0:43 i thought that hill in the background was a plane and got really concerned for a second
oh goodness no . that would've been insensitive.
They really need a normal person simulator to see if you have anything that you don't realize isn't normal
I don't think there's many people who would want to have a simulated experience of what "normal" is like on their conscience
But look at the build...
I found out when I needed glasses pretty young because one of my elementary teachers would write vocab words on the board and have us read them in the morning. I got by with copying everyone else for a solid month or so.
my 14 year old brother just found out he needs glasses. he tried on mine and they helped him a little bit lol
I, as many others, realised I first needed when I took too long to read the incoming signs when practice driving, that the driving instructor said "I will not allow you to continue driving before you get glasses". So. yeah.
I had realized freshman year that I probably needed glasses, but it wasn't until drivers ed in the summer after my sophomore year that I realized I definitely needed to get glasses.
Glasses crew!
First time I got glasses it was like switching to HD
my friend was 29 yo when she realized she had astigmatism
When I found out I needed glasses I was about 14 and we got a new seating plan in one of my glasses I was sat at the very back of the class and kept complaining that the board was really blurry and that I couldn't see and my friend jokingly said I needed glasses and a week later I actually got glasses and was mindblown XD
i love how the commenst has become "this is how i found out needed glasses" ! cool! i love hearing ur stories!
I was sixteen when I found out I needed glasses. Might have realized sooner if I hadn't _accidentally memorized the standard eye chart_ that schools and such always used to test people with. I spent much of my early teenhood going through all kinds of medical tests because I kept having inexplicable headaches...which turned out to be eye strain, and magically went away when I finally got glasses.
glasses discovery twin!! I did the same thing (also found out at 16) since I had been looking at blurry letters long enough, I was able to read the chart without actually seeing them so when I told my doctor "F looks like a right triangle, that's how you know it's an F from far away" they told me that wasn't normal lol
i took so long to realize i needed glasses bc my mom and sister are both near sighted, but my dad is far sighted, and because i didn't have as bad vision as my mom and sister, he would always joke that i had his eyesight, so we were like a little good-vision team. so i never said anything about things other people could see being hard for me to see bc i didn't want to dissapoint him.
He was 1920?! Dam joel that’s old
You never realise how much your eyes are compensating until they suddenly don't have to. Because it's gradual so it just becomes normal. Side note my friend was with me when I picked up the glasses first comment "you look even more like your mom now!". Which was fair since other than hair length and the aging signs of being 42 years older (her hair hadn't greyed yet) the glasses was the biggest difference between us face wise.
ok but why does he keep talking abt this mpvie (there is now multiple times he's talked abt this ...)
=)
My brother has 20/80 vision and we just. Didn’t know until he was 16. This kind of stuff seems to be surprisingly common lol
What video is this from?
one of joel smallisbeans hermitcraft vids ! the link is in th description i think.
first time I put glasses on was a whole new experience. You don’t know anything like it unless you’ve done it, because.. what.. I could SEE the INDIVIDUAL LEAVES from like 30 FEET AWAY!
Theres a bunch of small trees around my house and we live in the 4/5th store of the house.. After we got my glasses home i kept looking outside like 'The trees have leaves! The trees have leaves!!!'
I know I'm like 2 weeks late, but for me it was a bunch of starlings outside of the car window on the way home. They weren't just black blobs moving around! And the TV suddenly had much better picture quality so I could read the subtitles!
@@Nultan3309 i dont think theres ever a 'too late' in comments (unless its time specific maybe).. Especially after just 2 weeks When i git my glasses i couldnt watch tv anymore because HD looks terrible.. I mean ive gotten used to it now i think.. but it looked so bad that it was the only thing that actually gave me headaches..
OH MY GOSH I had the leaves thing too! Truly, there is no individual experience
I had the same experience like why are leaves so sharp
question is can you animate the bonus chicken short?
wdym>?
The one cub and grian made

@@icecat_3you hit a niche and dedicated fan base lol
Also where is this audio from
as someone who has had not the best vision ever since as a kid, i never understood and still dont understand how ppl just- have normal clear vision?? like what??.? personally glasses make everything seem less real/more flat, prolly cause it does mildly distort the view n all that, most the time i dont wear glasses, only if i want to or need to see something in detail wether its reading from afar or looking at pretty clouds
Glasses make me feel significantly shorter for some reason Probably just like a thing that your brain eventually gets used to
Aww I love thiss His little expression as he says "genuinely annoyed at my past self-" its perfect xD
:)
“Hi Skizz how you doing” “Oh not much just sent a dorito to another world” Keep up the good work! ^w^
gravittyyy falls ref :D
Beautiful 😍
Listen man if you’re born with that sort of vision you don’t KNOW the difference. That’s normal to you
thats so true D: the only reason i got glasses as early as i did in life is because i ended up with the nasty little side effect of migraine headaches, which are super noticeable lol
I got glasses when I was 12 I believe, up until that point I assumed my vision was 20/20..
