I know this is an older video, but if anyone can help me learn what key the song is in or identify some of the notes would be forever grateful
it is in the key of C. it seems to follow the normal structure of funk, kind of similar to the blues structure. difference here is, the drums, and the fact that this is in minor key, while normally the average blues is in major. the scale he seems to follow is the blues scale of C (as used in most funk music). hope this helps.

I'm an old raver who loves your version. I found it and sent it to my kid to learn on his uke.
On second thoughts, maybe you should write this out, and record the video again. In the right key, without that unwanted extra string strike at 1:38, and singing the two verses before you do the solo, and maybe leave out the smug look at the end. Just grist to the mill.
Thanks for the suggestions. Constructive criticism is always welcome :) The key is changed because of the tuning of the ukulele. The original is in E minor because of the low E sting (Or Eb if dropped) of the guitar and therefore I play it in G minor to use the low G String on the uke. I get the other two points, but I like the "roughness" of the video. After all, the solo was improvised and I am no Hendrix, so this is what you get :)
