Excellent video: clear and informative. Thank you for thoroughly explaining how to install the soaked hose, providing the best options, and including product links
I have a 59 foot garden. Idk about this.
I’m confused. Why did you clip off a vine with all those flowers. Wouldn’t they yield cucumbers?
Thanks man, only video I needed.
👍👍👍👍
how high did they grow?
Love your recipe,simple and clear,easy to do.Thanks a million.
Do you leave suckers that are higher up on? I'm guessing you cut off that sucker because it was lower on the plant and would touch the dirt? It's sad to discard so many flowers (potential fruit)!
Hi Riley! Did you eradicate the nutsedge successfully with your molasses compost tea drench??
I just harvested mine, two at the time. The leaves I cook in the soup. Love to eat them raw with the skin on! Thank you for your video
Sorry also wondering... The nylon netting is enough to hold up large fruiting tomato plants even? Or do you find the nylon sags or pulls down at all?
What direction are your trellis orientated? Noticed you have tomatoes on the back of the bed and zucchini in front so I'm assuming the side supports are on the east and west side of th bed?
The beds/trellis are facing south.
Glad I came across your video 🙂 I was about to install a metal trellis to try and vertically grow mine. I think I'll try this!
Riley you are most helpful. Thank you!!! What do you use for mulch in your garden? I haven't found the video on how you made your climbing trellis, but I'm looking! Thanks again!
I use hardwood mulch that they sell locally here at Lowes.
Do you add any additional fertilizer to the Miracle Gro potting soil.
😃🎉 Excellent I subscribed to your channel 🙏
many thanks
Good stuff!
good info thanks for sharing
I've got a more pressing question. How are your stalks so thick at that height? I have 3 foot tall cherry tomato plants that aren't that thick. Is that just type of plant? Or am I doing something wrong?
Do you know why they will get root rot in soil but not in Hydroponics? Serious question my Hydroponics always do better than potted in soil
Help ! i was dump and traumatized my tomato plant by ingently take the plant from an overcrowded tomto plants pot and shoke the dirt of the roots and transplanted it to another pot , i didn't water the plant before transplant i did only after , i searched a lil bit on the internet and found out that my poor young plant got transplant shock :( , and i knew that transplant shock could lead to her death , i'm panicking , i don't want it to die :( HELP !!!
Do you need a tomato cage with determinate tomato’s?
After transplanting do you keep in indoors or out in the sun
I love technology but I have to ask what happens when Wi-Fi is down
It will prob keep to the original cycle, most WiFi only changes anything when you send a command.
Thanks
Love how detailed you are. Thank you.
Excellent video. 1st time gardener, and I am blown away by all the expertise on youtube.
I'm getting ready to install my soaker hose here in Las Vegas, NV. This video was fantastic! Thank you! I totally second B-Hyve! I have 2 standards and 1 bluetooth with the wifi addition. So easy for testing, manually running, and programming!! 💚
Why did you setup so close to the edge of the garden? To me it’s seems a waste to water the wood. Just curious
Hairs don't become roots! You are spouting false information. Educate yourself.
Old panty hose?
Hi great information! I do have question. When you spoke about how you water the seed before it germinates, do you water it differently immediately afterward, or do you water it the same until you transplant it?
Glad to hear Steve-o is taking care of the earth!
Great video, simple and to the point. Thank you.
Nice video- keep it Up!
Great video!! Thank you!
From now on you are my plant teacher ❤️❤️❤️ amazing expresion and important facts ! 🥰🥰🥰🍀🍀🍀
Need your help on grow light height settings. I have (4) bulb, T-5, 48” - 5,000 lumens per bulb, 6500K. Heights are all over the place on the internet. People have told me as low as 2 inches from the top to as much as 12 inches. What I believe is a major problem is the distance to the top of the planter at close distances. Soil temps are well over 90 degrees, cooks the young plants. So it’s not all relative to distance. Soil temp consideration is a must. Once the plants are 4 inches high I can keep the lights closer. Your thoughts?
When do you turn off the heat mat? After they have sprouted or do I just leave it on?
First year of gardening and I've watched a bunch of your videos to get me started. Now 2 weeks in and my seeds have all started to grow, some are getting their first set of true leaves and it's coming along great. Appreciate all the info and advice you provide in your videos for beginners!
If you do this, you better have plenty of space - like you do. A tall plant with huge spreading leaves will shade a lot of ground.
Great video 😊
Nice!
Good information…where are you gardening? It would be helpful so we can adjust our planting schedule.
First off, thanks for the informative video! I'm excited to build this for my own yard. One small issue I noticed - you said to make the roof from one 26" x 8' panel For roof of 64" long by 40" wide, you'd need 3 pieces of 26"-wide panel (last one cut to 12" wide) and all would have to be the full 40" long, which comes out to 10 ft of panel. How did you do yours? Did you find a 10 ft piece of polycarbonate panel?
Can you please explain why you don't plant one tomato seed into a 3x3 pot from the beginning and instead prefer to plant two seeds in the 6 cell starting tray before transferring?
I appreciate you! You're always so thorough - thanks.
Thank you! This my first year starting from seed! This was so helpful.
Thanks a lot for this info...will be transplanting soon...
