A cup of coconut milk and a pot and heat will do the same thing.
What the hell...I use Califia Farms - Vanilla Oat Barista Blend Oat Milk and the Aeroccino3 as well and mine comes out just steamed. Perhaps I have to try that exact bottle.
This video explained nothing
Thank you!❤
Where is the mug from?
Found them at the Irish Design Shop in Dublin: irishdesignshop.com/products/coffee-cup?_pos=8&_sid=95c7f8efe&_ss=r
This was not at all informative. lol
fyi, whipping cream is not heavy cream. heavy cream has to be at least 36% fat, that's only 33%. And yes, it does make a difference. On the bright side, frothing whipping cream was actually exactly what I was looking for, albeit you didnt really show much about frothing it besides vague spoon spilling
Yea it would be nice for you to actually say how you manage to get that cream froth. Looks like you use the whole 250 mL?
That’s the Aeroccino 3 by Nespresso. Does a great job, easy to use.
What frother is the one you are using
This video would have helped me if there had been talking. Thank you.
The words are in the music its the bass you need to listen carefully as he explains a lot
But should you? Probably.
This video is useless
Waste of time!!
I tried it with cold chocolate milk and it works
I didn’t show me anything
So is that a Y/N? Why would you go to the effort of putting music to this video and not have a clear answer to the question asked iN the title!?!?!
Yeah. Exactly. Not even a clear visual. Dumbest video.
Never seen it in a can
Trader Joes and other grocery stores sell coconut milk in the can in the USA. Look in the aisle where Thai food ingredients are.
How can you determine when the second crack starts? I would like to roast my own coffee beans.
Silk oat creamer comes out frothier in my experience
still plastic :(
Why are we the only ones thinking about this
Short and to the point! Thank you!
What is the thing you put the milk into
A milk frother
some creamers do NOT froth well....
That was way too much cream first off, second, you didn't show it actually frothing. I own this frother and if I put that much cream it would overflow everywhere and it would not come out very foamy.
The cream coming from the aeroccino looks the same as if it came from the package. I have the same frother and I own the Barista too and I haven’t fond the right recipe to make whipping cream 😢
Nice of you to save this video for the OP
I have this exact same milk frother and I have to call BS. I tried many times to try and froth 33% cream, the frother stopps after about 10 seconds and starts flashing the light.
My Nespresso Aeroccino stopped frothing my Neilson Half & Half cream after 3 months of having it. I’m so annoyed because I loved the reviews of Nespresso machines so I was ecstatic to get it as a wedding gift. When I did contact Nespresso customer support they said it’s meant for MILK and NOT CREAM. They even told me to add REGULAR MILK and WATER to DILUTE my cream since it’s TOO HEAVY to froth OR to use OAT MILK instead! I’m truly heart broken because this is thing they don’t tell you about.
That's good to know! Of course, we were just testing to see if these milks could be frothed with the Aeroccino, but we did not assess whether it would be good for the machine over time. Point taken.
Are you not supposed to stir?
no in theory you're just stirring everything you're trying to get rid of into solution, once it's done blooming stir away to your hearts content.
@@unfortunately_fortunate2000 Ah gotcha, thanks
I just give it a swirl to make sure all the coffee is soaked
I just started roasting coffee with my whirly pop before I even knew you did this lol. What would you say be the maximum amount of coffee you could put in it to still get an even roast? Thanks!
About 300 grams. I buy my raw coffee in 1 lb bags and almost always roast half a pound at a time (225g).
That's a yes! Yay! Going to try it.
Nice vid. About what temp on the grill?
I start at full temperature and keep it there until about 5 minutes, or when the beans are really starting to discolor. Then I go to medium until first crack, then quite low between first and second crack. You definitely want a descending temperature profile throughout the roast, it just takes some practice to get a feel for when to lower it.
@@beanpoet6573 thanks I bought a lot of canned green beans and thought I ought to try roasting.
What was your ratio?
On this exact video, I'm not sure because it was shot a while ago. I have since settled on 1:17 with my Moccamaster, though.
Been waiting to see someone take their roast this dark with the whirly pop. Roast looks pretty consistent too? Been pan roasting roasting for awhile. Happy with the results, likely to try something different I guess. Good video Thxs.
Funny how the majority of French Press brew videos on RUclips miss this step completely.
I just learned about this step from copilot (replaced Bing chat).
Blooming isn't necessary with a French press. The CO2 has much more time to bubble up compared to a pour over where water is flowing through.
I received my machine a week ago and have been using it every day. Sometimes twice a day! Loving the coffee this machine makes! I noticed something that seems like a design flaw. When the machine is at its normal operating temperature (which is very not), the plastic water reservoir lid deforms to where it no longer sits flat on the water reservoir. I believe this has to do with the very close proximity of the plastic lid to the 9-hole water outlet arm. Once the machine cools this plastic lids then returns to its normal shape, where it can then rest flat on the water reservoir. This "heat/deform" and "cool/reform" of this plastic lid does not seem like it was designed into the machine and my concern is this may permanently warp the plastic water reservoir lid. I was wondering if you have noticed this issue as well. If so, has Moccamaster done anything to correct this problem?
That's plastic ...at a high price :))
I have not noticed this issue with my machine, but I will take a closer look!
Why oh why did you play music over the sound of it percolating? I’m crushed 🥺
Wow you are very tall! This is my dream coffee maker- thank you for reviewing 🌹
Yes, it was hard to get myself in the frame!
this design actually came from the seventies - 1974 to be precise - hence the name 741. they had another from 1968 - it's been reissued as the Jubilee 68. Color scheme/design reminds me of a Coleman product.
It will be really helpful if you point out all the parts which are plastic. one suggestion : add the new content at the end of the video
