Sorry for the noob question, but how does one "lock" your weapon on Xbox? I don't recall seeing any lock function for your weapons like in your video? Thanks in advance for your answer!

This is Soo good. Some suggestions for the next vid. Go slower with explanation and set up the knowledge base. Maybe start with the name of a gun and show each weapon part of the name in order and how it affects the name. Maybe just explain it like you are telling someone who doesn't even know about borderlands. Break it down and add in all the foundational knowledge. I already knew about the separate weapon parts being a thing and I still felt rushed following a long. Again this is Amazing and I'm so glad you have taken the Initiative to do this video because In the many years the Bl1 has been out, I haven't seen one video talking about this. So thank you. You are an instant sub and like. Can't wait to see you blow up for this awesome content.

I also would say aiming in borderlands 1 is annoying af especially with snipers. In bl 2 and the rest as long as you aim the reticle on the enemy's head it's a one shot kill from distance. In bl 1 if the enemy is on an angle or even standing still at a distance and you expect a bullet drop you'll miss. Also the reticles especially the electric ones which are basically static are horrible and annoying compared to the other games. The gun sounds and feeling of hefty weight to them are amazing. I also love how claptrap announces the new quests in different areas unlike bl2 and tps. Grenades really suck, I would only use bouncing betties and transfusions. Daze affects are just bad except for mordecai. Med kits really? I never bought one and rarely used them. I also love the weapon proficiency in the game.

does this work on not enhanced edition? id like it there cause i have some good stuff in it

The sound isn't the best. Generally, I personally think that tips and tricks videos like this are better when there is no speaking and text is displayed instead. Otherwise, well done!

Amazing content as always! I do want to play this game again at some point, I still haven't gotten to it yet sadly. Although I've got a long list of stuff to play before I get to it.

I forgot about the bank I pick up every side quest so Claptrap doesn't speak and I complete all of them because I hate having side quests still to do I usually always wait until I'm max level before doing any DLC in any Borderlands game, but I stills haven't played the BL1 DLCs. I like the rain grenades the most in this game, with transfusions in close second. Good video dude!

Nice saves on Rakk during the Moe/Marley fight! A 1Life strat you might want to consider (apologies if you are already aware of this) is to do the Lost Caves once you hit level 13 & before picking up the vault key mission. You can level up to 19 here but you need to vendor farm the Underdome for a level 13 (and higher level as well) sniper & masher/explosive pistol prior to. You can XP farm the craws only to 19 but you can also do the skags if you find the spot behind (relative to the skags) the vertical stalagmite & shock crystals. The skags stop when you are behind it & are easy pickings. After the Lost Cave you can do the Claptrap DLC to open open the gift shop farm. The main reason for all this is so that you're over leveled against Sledge & you have gift shop farm open. The gift shop doesn't give you much that's decent until it levels up after reaching the Dahl Headlands.

I can understand how someone could not be fan of three playthroughs 'cause it means it takes longer before you can actually get to the endgame content. Personally, I don't mind three playthroughs, TVHM is my least favourite though. I will also say that I don't like the level 30 characters, though I think it's cool that the option is there for those who do or want to try it. Axton is my favourite! Singularities are my favourite and my go to I don't use transfusions, though I've never really felt a need to Betty grenades are cool Tesla's are really powerful, but honestly I don't use them much. I don't usually use adaptive shields, however if another shield isn't that much better, then I'll just use the adaptive. 10:06 that snider has Vladof grip. I forgot about the Tina coms. I've never spec'd into Ranger, I just don't think the bonuses it offers are worth it for how far down the tree that skill is. The Stinkpot is one of my favourite assault rifles. I almost never get the Bone Shredder. 34:30 Barking is indeed damage prefix. The Veruc is also one of my favourite assault rifles and it's somewhat overlooked, I believe it's partially because it has a horizontal projectile pattern, which means you can't achieve the maximum damage against most enemies, and mostly because Gettle drops the Lyuda. Wow, insane luck with that Veruc farm 😂 It would've been funny if Mobley world dropped the Lyuda.

This was a pretty good guide. Although I don't like to do the jumpstart characters, this video actually teaches new players all of the simple things that the game doesn't. In turn they would be more prepared for UVHM and OP levels. Keep up the great work 👊. (Also you are the only person I know who is a Veruc over a Lyuda 😆😆😆).

I'm doing good, started my very first one life on Monday (video is up) and naturally went with everyone's favourite character, Gaige. 3:27 Claptrap knew, he can see the future! He foretold the end of this run. He's too powerful. He must be stopped. Borderlands has some weird creatures and skeletons just lying around. I can easily deal with Badass Bruisers when they don't have RPGs, but when they do I run for the hills. For the mission where you kill 50 Scythids, I just go on foot, it takes longer, but I prefer it. Unfortunate death, I think if BL1 had BL2 accuracy you would've got back up. That enemy was on practically 0 health.

is it only the base stats that move weapons, like you can't stack the elements onto a single weapon? also does this only work when solo?
