I have similar systems set up, but how do I get the waterpressure set up. I set up about 10 (blue) driepersoons, but only the first 5 do spray some water.... For unknown reason the water doesnot go up any further. Hope anyone can help me out?!
The pump stopped working a little too soon 😢
When can you plant them on the ground?
You literally fast forwarded through every part i needed
Sorry about that.
What size hose does this use please?
Earlier this year, my family and I grew these potatoes, and we created the most beautiful purple mashed potatoes ❤.
That is fantastic! We’re hooked on them. Thanks for the comment!
I just set 4 of these up for my raised beds. I have a 40 gallon stock tank right under the planter. I am surprised how well it works
Sounds like you have a great setup! We were pleasantly surprised how good they work as well. Thanks for the comment!
Hello, do add water in the bucket when needed? Is it programed to turn on at a certain time? Thanks.
I love when videos include nonsense no one cares about then cuts off at the part that is super important for people to know the context. S tier content creation here.
Sorry, Karen.
@@GreenThumbHomestead lol
not clear what product u are talking about. not good.
Click the link on the video to see the full version
I wish you would have gotten closer views of all the assembly. Had to find another video that was more helpful to me.
No worries, thanks for stopping by.
Hi! Would you use this in a raised garden bed? I wonder if it would work well if the lines and drippers are places more closely together, for example to irrigate a row of lettuce with multiple plants placed closed to each other. Would it still have the same water pressure and work well?
Raised garden is totally fine. The water pressure should be fine.
Good video. Where ido you install the anti-siphon piece, above the water level in the bucket? Near the control unit? It's not mentioned in the instructions.
Thanks for the question. Normally the anti-siphon valve can be positioned 8 to 12 inches from the solar unit on the water output hose.
@@GreenThumbHomestead Thanks!
Dang it! I was hoping you’d show the actual assembly of the tube and spikes, etc., but you fast forwarded it through it
Thank you! I believe it was 100 degrees that day. I can ask William to slow down when editing videos on “How to’s”.
Guys maybe you can help me. I have purchased this watering system, installed everything according to instructions. And right away the green light was flashing and beeping. It says there are 3 reasons to it, but none of them apply to my case. This device is brand new. The pump and water are clean. I dont know where to check. The sellers dont have email or something. Bought through Temu Thank u
I’d pay closer attention to the pump and that it’s working and the lines are dripping water. The lights may indicate more charging is needed. Another tip is to make sure the filter and weight lines are underneath the water or fully submerged. Hope this helps let us know.
what about the programming???!!!
It has a timer built inside, comes with instructions, and a variety of settings. I often drip it while I take out the dogs, then shut it off when I go inside. Easy peasy.
Gorgeous color 😍
Where is the anti-siphon?????
It comes in the box
That’s weird state tree in Texas is pecan tree seguin area is pecan tree capitol of the world they grow everywhere
Yep, they sure are! Nothing better than fresh pecans harvested from the backyard. This one is doing really well.
Is it still working well? I bought one for a grow tent for when I'm out of town.
We’ve had good luck with ours. Looking into adding to some of the other grow areas in our backyard.
@@GreenThumbHomestead Thanks!
Do you think with extra tubing the unit could push water 45 feet from the water bucket? I have a long garden bordering a fence. Thank you!
Possibly, if the water reservoir is raised or siphon started and/or gravity fed, and by using bamboo or stakes with zip ties creating or using a gradually sloping landscape.
did it grow? they arent the same as potatoes most people cut off the sprout and plant that for sweet potatoes
Unconventional sweet potato start, it’s working!
They’re coming up!
what is poes?
Sweet potato
Great video, thanks
You’re very welcome! Thanks for stopping by.
What is that green tubing u used between sections? Standard hose? 1/2 inch or 5/8??
Yes, standard garden hose, 5/8”. The drip is actually smaller and can slide threw. We used left over hose pieces. It’s nice because it simply cuts down on drip 💧 loss in certain areas.
Well?
Are you from Pennsylvania, by chance?
Michigan
@@GreenThumbHomestead just a long snap. I knew a girl from Pennsylvania named Jennifer who moved to Texas a while ago.
But plants need to cool down when it’s too hot , so don’t be afraid to water in the middle of the day..be careful not to water overhead when really hot out.
Thanks for the tip!
That pop was the small root net that you just pulled off
It’s been transplanted and doing great!
if you’d tell us what the solar system was, you’d get more engagement on you’re videos is all I’m saying
The full length video link is right here on the left hand side. Click to watch.
Use wicking beds, or ollas
If you're in the Southeast go ahead and pour water in the pressure cooker see how your greens look
Wat
Your not very good at the whole social media thing maybe stick to plants
So true, my bf does all the work on here, so please be kind, thank you.
@@GreenThumbHomestead Pretty rude yourself, he's right, this short sucks.
@krielkip My bf is using a new technique for shorts. If he doesn’t do it, I wouldn’t be on here. Thank you for communicating but please be kind! Thank you!
Water at sundown so less of it evaporates
Bad edit. Zero info and cut right before the actual subject of the video.
That’s the point. They want you to look at her other videos. Engagement farming.

Does it have a timer
Thank you for the question! It has 6 modes, it drips every 12 hours for 5, 10, or 15 minutes or every 24 hours for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. It drips at a rate of about 400ml/min and can support up to 10 pots for the standard version of the system.
@@GreenThumbHomestead can you set the time of the day when it drips?
@@markusr1308 nein.
@@GreenThumbHomestead thank you! I am thinking about a rain barrel for next year using a solar drip system like this! First time here, I already subscribe.
Y’all be very careful with the figs yellow jackets love to live and lay their eggs in it true trust me
So far we’ve been pretty lucky, no insects inside.

Walnuts are Awesome
👍 Agreed, Superfood!
I pulled one just like that out of a pot. Realized what it was, planted it in back yard. It's still standing 30 yrs later.
That is so incredible! I can imagine how much satisfaction you get every time you look at it. Thank you for the inspiration!
I never knew testicles grew in the ground🤔
Yes! With trees attached! 🤣
