I’m super interested in the Duke 200. I just need a bike that can cruise at 60mph. This one fits the bill although I would want a exhaust, intake and a tune. I really like the Royal Enfield classic 350 but I live by a KTM dealer and the KTM will not stress as much at 60.

I know it’s a bit late, one year later ahahah, but the L shaped thing at the start is the clutch line junction with the bleeder, and the line right after is the ground, after that the orange clip they remove is the reverse light sensor, as well the black long sensor with the one bolt is the crank position sensor

Yeah the first place I went to had a shipping and handling fee of $1000 dollars so the bike would have been over $5000 but found a different place with a $500 handling fee. Shop around forsure!

What did you pay out the door?
$3700 plus a $750 freight fee that I couldn’t avoid, some places had up to a $1000 freight fee in my area!
You can tell the passenger side front grill was replaced that’s why you can’t see where the damage came from on intercooler
Where did you get the mirrors?

I think KTM makes mirrors that attach to and hang below the end of the hand grips. It has a "racier" look. ✌🏽
More updates on the this bike would be appreciated.👍🏽 This bike is relatively new in the US and it's good to get an American perspective. Otherwise most information about the bike comes out of India and other Asian countries.✌🏽
The bike is pretty new to the US. It's good that American reviews and perspectives are starting to come out. A vast majority of reviews are from India and other parts of Asia, where this bike is very popular.✌🏽
Does the rpm and speed increase after the 600 mile break in period?
I don’t believe speed increases but there is a red flashing light that comes up after a certain rpm that will go away once you reach 620miles

Hi, I would like to know how reliable this bike is. I've been thinking about buying a Yamaha R3 but for the price this looks like a no brainer, also do you need to do an engine break in ?
KTM brand is a very reliable brand and I love it so far! Break in is right around 600 miles, only downside I would say with the Duke 200 is top speed being around 87-89MPH so not great for high speed freeway driving
@@4brothersmobiledetailing306 That works for me, I am 40 and never ride before, so thinking on buying my first bike, I'm not into riding fast, I just want to run errands in down town and cruise on mountains roads. Thanks for the answer and enjoy your bike man!

@@hirampr21 Same here. I'm 48, and new to riding. I'd like a new, reliable, affordable bike to practice on. Particularly for practicing slow speed operations, and have to worry about dropping a more expensive bike. This bike seems to fit the bill, and it's affordable enough for modifications like engine/crash guards and sliders, good protection for slow speed practice. The bike seems practical and I'm trying to be pragmatic.✌🏽
I just bought this bike as my first bike and I kinda wish I would have bought the 390 or maybe a 600cc bike. Don't get me wrong the 200 is great, but a month in and I'm wanting more power. 🤣

Thanks for your input on this. I have an 05 Saturn Vue 2.2 liter. Same issue. Nothing fits into the tiny space. And a standard tensioner removal tool at 23 inches in length is too long to fit into the tiny space as well, let alone be able to move it enough once in place.
