super cool! calisthenics aren't terribly important unless you wanna ace the SOC, arguably IPPT is more important so things like pushups, situps, 1.5 mile (2.4km) run in that order. happy to help if you want some advice for NS!

Hey Ryan great video!! been following you for some time now.. just one question! when students are assigned the dorms, do you guys have to move out after every sem or is that dorm assigned for an entire academic year? and also where do students stay during the sem break between fall and spring sems.. i.e for the 3 months of june-august??

Hey Ryan, my name's Darren and I served NS a few years ago (2019-2021). Speaking from experience, it might be a little difficult to adjust from civilian to army life when you first enlist but things will definitely get better as you will make friends along the way. Just remember that it's a new experience for everyone who is enlisting with you and look forward to your bookouts on most weekends. You got this bro! Feel free to reach out if you need any help along the way.

I would advise against it unless you want to stay in sg long term

Din realise that u are a Singaporean when I subscribed to your channel back then. Singaporean here and I have completed my reservist. Not sure why u suddenly drop out of NYU and opt to fulfil your National Service (NS) obligations. Did u receive the letter calling u up for NS midway thru NYU ? Do remember that after 2 years of NS, u probably be still recalled for yearly reservist for another 10 years or so. Duration 1 to 3 weeks.

A Singaporean viewer here. I think you should be spending some time in Singapore and know about the locals before going to the military. It helps to acclimatize you to the culture here and understand the expectations of military there.
