A stunning reading of the Golson standard. The carefully crafted arrangement just enhances the beauty of the original, providing a setting that shows off Golson's gem to the best possible advantage. First class musicians bring it all to life in solos that sparkle and ensembles that are understated yet sophisticated. Vitro's vocal shines throughout but it is her ability as a scat singer that ensures her place among the most precious jazz vocalists. All in all, a best wesselton of a recording, flawless jazz.
