Honestly I like the idea of reusing music, I love leitmotifs and the idea the certain tunes can represent ideas or emotions.

when i was a kid i was always waiting for the epic melody in the 2nd half of the battle with a dangeroes foe theme now that im an adult and have gone to several techno and progressive house raves and warehouses, i appreciate that this just keeps all of the dark 1st half as if you're still battling the dangerous foe. i would love to hear this at a warehouse rave.
