I think that you are messing up the timing of when to go into the sword menu. Hold zl and r, then jump. As soon as you land, continue holding r and use the up d-pad to select an item, not a sword. I am fairly sure that this is the part you are talking about, but if it is not, let me no.

Fair. Royal Gaurd Armor does have a ton of defense as well

I also like barbarian armor if I don't have any buffs. However, with the Zonaite Helm, Champion's Leathers, Zonaite Shingaurds, and Lvl. 3 Attack up food, you can receive the attack up bonus along with 88 defense, opposed to the Barbarian Armor's 84 (With Lvl. 3 Defense Up Buff). Another difference is that the Zonaite + Champion's Leathers combo gives you lvl 2 reduced enrgy consumption, while the barb armor lowers the stamina used for charged attacks. Note: The Fierce Diety Armor is equivalent to the Barb armor, but I just think the barb armor looks cooler and is easier to upgrade.

that's you buddy. personally I find it grinding for all the items legitimately is WAY more boring, especially when trying to go for upgrading all the armour

Whenever I play these games, I always make sure I beat the final boss before I start duping things. Once you've beaten Ganondorf, finding weapons and items becomes for farming than grinding.

Personally, my first playthrough was pure. I didn't use glitches until I beat the game and started a new file. Trying korok scamming, prologue link, duping, and other glitches are fun to learn/do afterwards. Learning the timing for glitches can be fun too. Obtaining the 3 unobtainable minecarts, the balloon and wing that don't expire. And the control stick with the zonai hat on it. The glitch I haven't tried yet is duplicating horses.

Seems to be a glitch of a kind, the physics shouldn't do that. But definitely not a *big* glitch, just a bit of an obscure physics bug. Mechanics working together in a way entirely not dev intended is an exploit, but there's definitely some type of bug, as this shouldn't happen, the momentum shouldn't carry over, and not with *this* level of force either.
