Sri Lanka is a really unique part of the old world. Its strange because its like a civilised more polished version of India and i say that with no disrespected intended to India which is a whole different beuaty of it self.

Nice guys, Thanks to visit my little country SRI LANKA

I ran out of gas running south on Ruta 40 and it was 2010. No smart phone, maps or podcasts then just a GPS with a yellow screen with a triangle pointing south! I just decided to run up that 1km driveway from the dirt road and had to stay a week as they only went to town every few weeks. I had tools and just spent my days fixing as much equipment for him as I could. Good times. I don’t think he could speak English then. We spoke a combination of Spanish and French. But we went fox hunting at night and horse back riding. I told him I’d come back, and maybe I still will.

Hey mate, that dude wasn’t collecting coconuts , he was collecting something called “Raa” natural coconut alcohol from coconut flowers , you should try some next time

Watched the ride . ' quite well ...covered a lot a the island in just those coupla days.. I'm not in to chunky enfields , preferably a good off road honda XL250r or 400r .. my choice a machine as there's certainly some harsh old jeep tracks across some a the hill areas on the way up to the mountains & then Nuwara Eliya Worlds End & the down to sinharaja rain forest ... Did an awesome off road trip in 88.. in those days with just a paper map ..' I was 23 & my German girlfriend @ the time 22..& another couple ..we lost them in the rain & ended up in walimada not far inn @ worlds end.. ' we had to wait @ the beer stall in town in Nuwara Eliya till they showed up the next day...' ' haven't hooked up in a while with a good bikie babe who'd tempt me to ride again ...😂😂 Most wonderful days of our lives.. ' even @ 59 now that craving for a good ride ain't over yet....😂😂
