Me watching this with my 1 inch Afro:

4A-3C hair. Or low density/ high porosity 3C hair. Many people in my family have this hair. It straightens easily but in it’s natural /wet or damp state it is frizzy/ curly. In it’s dry state (without conditioners)it’s just fuzzy/ frizzy. High porosity/ low density hair just drinks up conditioners; but when you use a heat cap with deep conditioners, your hair will feel like butter and be so silky curly (just while wet). High porosity means you can straighten easily with gels and conditioners but shrinkage is definitely real.. If flat ironing, it only takes one pass and hair will be silky straight. Because it’s high porosity you probably need to use bonding pre conditioner treatments. Unfortunately, many individuals with high porosity/low density hair may experience a growth plateau or breakage without serious intervention. I’m not a professional, I just deal with this type of hair all the time.

thank you. no matter what i do my hair will not hold a curl either. i need holding spray. i will try this one.

As a stylist do NOT do what she did. You do NOT dry your hair with a sectioning comb. You use a vented paddle brush to dry your hair. And you always stretch your hair first before your start drying it. And you start at the scalp contrary to what you have heard.
