Launching Out in Latin America filmstrip (1954)
This documentary is really awesome. I loved every detail of it.Thanks so much I want more of this stuff.
This deliberation makes me glad to be in the LCMS
I feel as though MLK was going to push the Civil Rights Movement with the US citizens through educating the people in a peaceful way 13:20/ 34:33 . It would have been another renaissance period sparked by the most articulate man possibly of all time (Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.). I believe now this task has been given to the federal government. They cancelled our renaissance. Very suspicious.
So renaissances worthy 37:55
Well I hope you're doing fine And I see you made it out of Humboldt park
Beautiful ❤ How are they doing today?
What an optimistic and promising archive for a country that will have a tragic history for the next few years. The malagasy people shown in the images must have had a very difficult time in the years that followed.

Historical documentary on media establishment in Africa. Thank you!
AMEN, MADAGASCAR A CHOSEN NOSY
A CHOOSEN PEOPLE
I wish I could be on this panel!!
Yup they came back for lunch ad when they finally left many books were missing from the library.
You'll recognize them by their fruit. Look at the fruit of the ELCA - lack of the Lutheran Confessions, lack of Biblical inherency, and an abomination.
These people "walked out" then came back and ate lunch.
"Um I know we just made a big show in front of the media that were leaving, but can we come back in for lunch?" Lol
Thanks for posting this❤❤❤
Predictable Physiognomy. Big surprise.
Making the swearing kid a stereotypical "model boy" and the kid who didn't swear a cool, tough street greaser was kind of a genius use of reverse psychology on the NLC's part.
What a joy to watch. From an era when your local teevee station had to provide local public affairs programs "in the public interest, convenience and necessity."
That gangbanging shit was different levels of retarded when it strikes a neighborhood hardcore like Humboldt Park was... It was the worst neighborhood in the NATION!!! At one time.. thank God they havent really duplicated that since.. regardless of how people yearn for yesterday at least more people grow up old in Humboldt Park nowadays... My Mom told me about the hanging of that naked body... Thats fucked up. The scarier thing is they dont ever tell you who that still lives in that neighborhood conducted the hanging of the corpse? Cuz you know people are not spirits... They dont just vanish and come back as they please... They are always around when not incarcerated... People forgive alot of bullshit to co exist with straight up killers who disrespected the dead. I have FAMILY that grew up on Crystal and Washtenaw, Division and Washtenaw and Rockwell and Potomac and Evergreen and California and to this day Haddon, LeMoyne, Wabansia and Talman and Logan Blvd and Humboldt Blvd by 14th district police station etc.... And my mom told me about the hanging of the corpse one morning... Now how a neighborhood stands by for that behavior shows how weak people can be in groups... They throw out all sense and soul and heart and conpassion and conscious... Increible chacho..
They drank the liberal cool-aid, and for what, so they could have pink-haired pastrixes? Wie schade!
Anyone know how Kelly is doing today
I am doing Wonderful :) Thank you for asking
Hmm... I thought yur name was Kelley?
I was the original poster Boorishme. Anyway I hope you're doing fine and I'm assuming you made it out of Humboldt Park

This is absolutely amazing! I’m a descendant of Rocky Boy and the Piche family. I never thought I’d find something so rare. 🙏 😊

@@Savage-cx9ukwhat's so sad about it? Enlighten us,I want to know what you think makes this sad.
dude this guy looked ancient even in 85
Growing up a teenager in the 80’s at Humboldt Park was very scary . This is what got me into Djing and staying away from all the trouble makers in the neighborhood. Don’t get me wrong , Humboldt Park is a beautiful park with a lot of beautiful people . I will always remember the great times. I still play men’s softball there . Humbolt will always be in my heart. ❤🙏
Humboldt park has been hell since the 1960s. You couldn't just walk into Humboldt park bakk then... the mobs we're the terrorists of their neighborhood... it was the jungle, if the gangs didn't get you,, they would kill your family members... gangbanging is evil...
So true!
Centro Unidad Latina (CUL) was my home away from home. If you've been there, render a shout out.
The largest pr area in the mainland us even bigger then ny
What a shame that DrTietjen and his "Faculty Majority" chose to deny scripture and deeply divided American Lutheranism as a result.
My boy Kiki forever YOUNG AMOR FWst KWst YTTF
I need a clarification. Is the seminary in this video of Luther-St. Paul; which was German Lutheran near Phalen park OR Luther Seminary that, up top 1917, was near what is now Hamlin University, just off Snelling Ave. I know that that property was vacated when the 1917 merger happened. Luther Theological Seminary was initially formed through the merger of three institutions in 1917 in conjunction with the merger of three Norwegian Lutheran Churches. Each of the three churches operated a seminary: the Norwegian Synod operated Luther Seminary, located near Hamline Ave. in St. Paul; the Hauge Synod operated Red Wing Seminary in Red Wing, Minn.; and the United Norwegian Lutheran Church operated the United Church Seminary on a portion of the present site of Luther Seminary in St. Paul. I just want to make sure that this video id tagged correctly. I hope someone knows the answer and can clarify things.
It is the Phalen Park seminary/college/academy of the Joint Synod of Ohio.
My grandfather, Juan Mojica, worked for the park district from '68 to '92 and my family all lived there through the struggles. In the '80s we moved but I returned in 2010 to work for the hospital and give back to the community. I love Humboldt Park.
Melissa DuPrey is my cuzzo.... We give to the community because it's natural.. u can't shit where u eat. It's law of nature..
thus man is a legend, i thank God i have rubbed shoulders with him in number of big occasions
I attended this with Joy Lutheran of Palm Bay, FL when I was 17.
Why dont yall "religiuos folks' tell the real 'ROOTS' of the California Story:-- Your CATHOLIC frairs were greedy perverted men. Who raped and abused our CALIFORNIA NATIVE PEOPLE. And the San fernando Valley is the Captial of PORN --"shame the devil --dont cover his sins. BE A REAL CHRISTIAN. NOT a HERETIC.
6 million people??? We only have 2.75 million left??? WOW!!!!
Chicago cook county is 6.7 million, Chicagoland Tristate area is 13 million, Chicago itself is 2.8 million legal about another 1 million illegal or seeking residency, and or visa work status. So Chicago itself has close to 5.6 million people everyday working and or tourist!
So glad I left Humbodt Park!!! Yet I'm glad I had a chance to live there... I needed that!
What a shame you missed a beautiful neighborhood with beautiful people who made the neighborhood better and what it is today. All for gentrification to hit us once we got our park safe to live. It’s happening everywhere in the city. Raise your taxes by by 100%
Came here after his interview on Phalaphala FM. Respek n Salute!
I grew up in the NYC area, and I remember this show. It ran in the early 60s. But was it Sunday or Saturday mornings?
I remember waaayy back this came on Sundays before it was time to go to Church.
This is History
Grew up in that neighborhood from 85- until got married in 2004 it was rough. Grew up on Washtenaw and Wabansia right by TDub.
Real Side was Poppin 🍾🥂 this past Puerto Rican parade....I was with Pimp !!! If u digs what I know
I thought I saw that Miller ended up leaving the ELCA after they accepted homosexual ordination.
Ha! He didn't see that one coming, huh?
That’s shalom church on hirsch and ridgeway. I grew up there. They used to have us in there. Singing and shit
Christ defines the Church not politics. Politics be damned to hell according to its origins. Believe in Christ alone and you will be saved.
I thought that was shia lebouf in the thumbnail
ECLA is little more than a coven of SJWs. Complete apostasy.
The most dangerous neighborhoods were created by the government.
