ma' salamah brother..fii amanillah, salam from indonesia
I realised why I like your videos… 1. They are long. The newer videos on RUclips are short, tik tok style for the attention deficit youngsters. So watching a nice lengthy video is back to the old days of RUclips, and it feels like you have spotted the gap in the market. 2. You show more of the landscape instead of your face. I like the POV perspective. As viewers we know what your face looks like, we want to see what you see, through your eyes so-to-speak. And this video did that for the majority of it. 3. You have covered the background in a silly song. So this way we get to hear the sounds that you hear, hear the streets, the car horns, the Athaan, the people chattering in the back, the whole thing. It really makes us feel like we are transported to that place with you. The newer videos have songs in the back so you can’t fully immerse yourself in the video and it becomes like every other video. Please continue to apply these three things to all of your videos. And I know that you will be a rapid success in your RUclips journey if you apply these three things, which the newer channels have lost focus of.
Thanks for the feedback. the long format has its viewer penalty. ( not as many watch) but my intention was to capture memories for me to remember how i felt in the moment and to help others plan adventures.
i also do short form content for my Tiktok and insta but that is for the audience that doesnt want details just quick visual gratification
And also….is the masjid open for sisters?
Yes there is a dedicated sisters prayer area and the atmosphere is welcoming. sisters can also visit during non prayer times and non Muslims can visit the Mosque and take a tour outside of prayer times.
@@irfancycleogistI checked on Google, and it states that the masjid is only open from 9am-2pm. But in the masjid open for the other salahs (Asar, magrib and isha)?
@@johnsmithysmith1930 That is probably for the benefit of tourists. It is a full time working central mosque and will welcome you outside those times. Those stated times are probably so the tourists are not hampering the day to day workings of the mosque and to set expectations. even if closed they will usually open up 1 of the doors for you to visit. it is also part of tunisian and islamic heritage so needs to be preserved somewhat.
Hi irfan, is it possible to pray Jummah (Friday) prayer here? And if so…what time is Friday prayer over there?
Yes. I prayed Juma here when i visted in Nov 23 with friends. we cycled there from sousse had lunch then offered Juma in the Grand Masjid. Times change according to the time of year but usually about 1300-13:30. The sermon is long if you are accustomed to short sermons in the west so be prepared.
@@irfancycleogistoh wow. Your videos are awesome. Really inspiring. Thank you brother How long did the sermon take? In England we have khutbas that last around 20 mins.
@@johnsmithysmith1930 about 30 minutes but if you dont get a place in the inside and your exposed in the courtyard it can be hot. rare that happens. always room

This honorable man has an iron will on a cold and rainy day, riding a bike for a long distance, raising the flags of Tunisia and Palestine, and despite the difficult situation, he says elhamdu li Allah.✊🙋
I love climbing, always my favorite part of the ride
what a weather to ride in haha, very extreme
@@cyclingaroundbizerte can’t always have the sunshine. If you want the sun you have to deal with the rain. Alhamdulillah always. It was challenging but good memories
What very difficult ride in whats supposedur rest day ! I wish it was a better weather to enjoy nature in sunshine . As for the police, it's because we are too close to Algerian borders and Tabarka is full of forests, we had a lot of incidents recently that's why I think it is necessary to check around and be aware for tourist's and locals safety , however I didn't like the fact that they were literally following you !?
They were just doing their job. Trying to keep everyone safe. But I think I was too tired from everything else
I much prefer rim brakes after having 2 back wheel lock ups and a front brake failure. It’s not as though I’m a newbie I raced for 20 years road, cyclocross and track👍great video 👍

Добрый вечер. По мне, так Тунис замечательная страна,доброжелательные люди. Скучаю,мечтаю вернуться туда ещё. С любовью из России ❤.
Have you taken your own bike? You'll have to share your ride itinerary with me so I can try to convince my lads to fly out to Tunisia instead of Morocco in Sep
Anytime. Amazing country. So many diverse routes. Depends what you like. Hills. Flat and fast or mix
Awesome video.
