Genes in Space - Design and Launch your DNA Experiment to Space!
Genes in Space is a science contest that invites students in grades 7 through 12 to design DNA experiments for space. Students will pioneer DNA research on the International Space Station to address real-life challenges of deep space exploration. The winning experiment is conducted in space!
Genes in Space is a collaboration between miniPCR bio and Boeing with generous support from the ISS U.S. National Laboratory and New England Biolabs, Inc.

Are there or have there bin any real-life studies with mammals if you let nature take its natural course in zero gravity perpetuating a new form of mammal life possibly with no bones and adopting a new way of living suited to zero gravity, In other words, stop fighting zero gravity and use it to our a possible advantage. There have been at least 2 moves that grapple with this viewpoint and yes there is a price as with all new ideas and technologies.

Can space DNA sequencing possible? I do not think it is possible because on earth the invisible ultrasound, light, gravity, and five basic elements that are big enough to make it possible but if we design space carefully duplicate the best kid ever birth place and environment then it may be possible to design incubator after year 2000 became common practice that could produce million of bill gate, Steve job or einstein easily. But unless you want to have 3 heads, 20 hands 3 legs then go and do more and good luck

Please tell me ; effect of microgravity on immune system
There is evidence that the immune system is depressed in space. When astronauts return to Earth their immune system is not functioning as well. Most recently this was studied as a part of NASA's Twins Study - www.nasa.gov/twins-study.
how do you pipette liquids in space?
Great question! Astronaut Kate Rubins showed last year that you can do it just like on Earth, as long as volumes are small. Tiny volumes hold together well thanks to surface tension. So yes, micropipetting in space works.
I would think the KISS principle applies. The first avenue to protect against muscle loss shouldn't be editing someone's genome, but rather constructing a more portable, assemble-and-disassemble exercise device similar to ARED.
