I bought a snowmobile. As soon as I drove it off the trailer the fuel pump started making noises. The snowmobile had no power. As soon as I hit around 10 kph, the motor stalled as if I had let go of the accelerator and it would cycle between acceleration and deceleration. I ordered a second hand fuel pump from an T660 touring and installed it. The snowmobile has not done many km and had bad fue...

Why in God's name can't 4 stroke machines be equipped with a compression release to facilitate hand starting. My 2 cylinder inboard diesel marine had one, and even chainsaws are so equipped. It is not rocket science

Thank you for posting this video. My fuel pump is making the same noise. I will try the fuel filter first before purchasing a new fuel pump

Hello From across the world ! I am from the mountains of new york, usa. Very good share ! Im sure i can make an emergency strap like that. I also made an emergency 3 pulley block n tackle with a long rope to pull my sled out from getting stuck,,its a two seater and heavy, has reverse, but be prepared as possible ! Thank you !

Hello from Upstate new york mountains ! Very nice job ! I like the honesty also. A true thinking man ! always tells the truth ! Also I like how yo continued to take it apart to see what exactly went wrong. Like you said,, the fuel,,& filter probably would have fixed it. No shame in the learning process ! It will help me. I just bought one too. I have not looked at the fuel filter yet,, seems like good maintenance !

Where did you purchase this strap?

It was lying under the seat when I got the sled. It's a very basic design. Any 2m/6ft nylon strap with a handle would work. Even the belt from your trousers would probably work, but I haven't had to try that.

This will be very useful for when I need to fix my snowmobile. Also, good snowmobile impression, have you considered acting? Definitely a gap in Hollywood for that skill
