Hi :-)
I'm Bompa, 49 years old, living in a mountain in the province of Québec, Canada.
A little over a year ago, I bought 11 acres of forest with a house and a garage on it.
I have lots of projects for this land.

Insulating the floor with my brother

This was a long process. Insulating the floor. Had to install wood braquets, then the plywood, then the styrofoam and the plastic. Made it half way at least. Can't wait to start the walls.

My brother is at the Homestead for the week Deer hunting season starting, spending my mornings and eveings hunting. During the afternoon, I'm trying to get the community center moving.

I Lost control - My Wife took over

My neighbor lent me his excavator. My wife took control of the excavator, she spent over 3 hours in it. I had to wait for her to leave for work the next day to be able to use the excavator. Took lots of time off to relax and have fun with friends and family. Hoping to start the flooring soon.

Finally Finishing the Cement footings for the Community Center

Me and my wife finally finished the cement footings for the community center we are building. It was a long process, since I need to bring all the cement bags up to where we are building. Since I'm trying to save on wood, I used the same plywood to make my footings. Took some time with my wife to relax by a nice fire and just talk together. We need to do this more often. A New Beginning - Building a community center on the Homestead

After taking down the old building that was falling to the ground. I started building the foundation of the new building. This building will become a community center for when family and friends visit. I will be making 15 cement footings for the foundation.

Wow that is cool :-) My father was from Anvers. the pronounciation I use is how I learned to call my grandfather ;-) Now my grandchildren call me like that also . Love seeing comments from Belgium, Thank you :-)

I bought a brand new 2024 800xc put 350 miles on it and already blew the rear differential. The funny thing is that the Atv wasn’t even put in an environment that should have been able to test its capabilities never mind blow the rear differential. I put 350 extremely easy miles on it . Most ppl would laugh at the stretch of trail that I rode 350 miles on the machine a scooter could handle the terrain. I’m getting the rear fixed selling it and buying a used Kawasaki Brute Force or Kingquad. I literally wasted 11000$ cash for this cf Moto I’m beyond mad over it
Sorry to hear that Jason, I have mine for 2 years now, it has 76 000km on it. It was used as a security ATV on a very big land and ran 24/7 for 3 years. Mine is a 2019 Cforce 400, I use it as a work ATV on the Homestead. I find myself lucky that I only had 2 issues with it, the EPS fuse and the main strap that ripped a part from normal use. I personally love mine

Well, I've had a few accidents and I'm pretty sure there's more than $5000 damage to that sled. Unfortunately if he's got insurance it's a good thing because it's probably gonna be written off.
That was before taxes ;-) Seems it will be passing on his car insurance he told me. Not sure how he managed that :-o Was still a fun day and makes for a great story now HAHA
