Im not ripping my skyline to bits to do this ..
So Freaking inspiring man i need this in my life omg i was commenting and heard you hit something back to the action lol
That's some sexy drifting
Dodgy as fuck
I so need to do this on my Infiniti
Same lmao, it’s been a year, did you do it?
What clutch pedal did you use bro ?
Would this be the same for the 250gt
You find out yet?
Hay mate do you still have the bike I would to buy it
Car looks well setup. Good driving
Great solution. I hate only using half the tire
"I'm here all day!" 🤣🤣🤣
Love it 😊
Think you're an event behind mate 😅
Do car stuff!! Don't be a Gina lol
get a knew mikuni vm22.
ur kickstarter kicks back too like mine.. do u think its the valves?
Thank you very much for your video, it helped me a lot
jesus. what the fuck was nissan thinking... lets change the skyline body into an ugly disaster, then make it a v6, but actually still make it powerful and with a limited slip diff and rear wheel drive. then the cherry on top is traction control you cant turn off without chopping wires... the downfall of one of if not THE greatest cars in history.. thanks nissan. you really screwed the pooch on this one.
Exactly why needa cut all these wires and unplug shit
You have no clue what you are talking about
Cheers for this. I have a box from chris at shockwork to unpack and install. This has made me a lot keener to get it done
Does anyone know with a HK - HG Holden, if you can convert the footbrake to momentary for drift? IE instead of the brake ratcheting, you only use the dash button when you want to lock it on? or maybe screw it in, if you remove the pawl and spring from the mechanism?
You need to unbolt and swap the magneto’s over mate and retain the original wiring makes things way easier in the long run and looks less messy 👍🏻
What motor is in it?
Whats the paint code for this, looks neat!
TH1 is the code, its OEM for a few different Nissan's in the 90s
Sick ceff …. Hey I’ve got a spare dash vent I can sell ya I’m in Adelaide 👌
Cheers dude, yeah I'm keen. Hit me up on Facebook or something with details
I’ve never seen a grille like that . Do they come factory with the cefiro badge looks dope !!
Im not too sure, I think the badge is aftermarket, but the grill is genuine. Im not very knowledgeable with ceffy stuff haha
grille is OEM S3, badge is trunk badge from A32 or A33 cant remember
So sick!
Thanks mate!
Cant believe the towers moved that much, you done a good job getting them back. Both cars look killa, I've always wanted to try do a paint fade I was going to attempt it on my rocker covers first lol. Good luck at Round 3.
Yeah its crazy hey, s13 towers aren't very strong as they are and when you cut the front tubs out it definitely doesn't help haha, should hold up for a bit longer now hopefully. The paint didn't come out as good as I was hoping but hopefully I can have the 350 ready for paint in some warmer weather and see how that turns out. Thanks mate so keen to get out and drive again!
Nice cefiro ! Don't wreck it, not many left on the roads.
Yeah don't plan on wrecking this one! Gonna try leave it as stock as possible 🙂
Your a real car RUclipsr now, got a new car every other week haha. Nah looks cool mate, didnt think clean examples of these existed anymore.
Haha, have got a bit of a collection now. Yeah keen to keep this one stock and tidy for as long as I can
I was the first owner of this car in Australia.
Yeah rad, small world hey haha
Wow clean stock examples do still exist, good to see. I'd be keen for a video on the 180. Also lol at the "Fossil Cam" part.
Yeah don't see many in stockish form these days. Keen to try keep it in as original as possible condition. I'll have to do a vid on the 180sx next time it comes out of hibernation then haha
Goes to lengths to keep the oe fan then decides to put the rad in the boot anyway 😂 Also I think the coolant bypass behind the waterpump is an essential part of the flow through the motor, I might be wrong though.
Yeah I'm a huge fan of the oe clutch fan setup on every car (no pun intended) However I was planing to do a rear mount setup one day for better weight distribution anyway so rather then rushing through it all now I might aswell do it right the first time. I just get way to excited to just get it done and drive it that I want to do everything the easy way 😅 Yeah I need to look into the coolant system, I have seen people delete the water pump and run a fitting straight out the block inbetween the timing belt and then run to an external pump so I don't think that pipe running behind the motor is needed, it only really went to the heater core and oil filter etc but not sure if it needs to flow back into the block on the other side

Cain laughing at you at the start is gold
Yeah he's had plenty of practice with that haha
Looking sexy bro. Dropped some kg and the beard. Car looks good too
Haha thanks mate, hopefully start making some decent progress on it soon if all goes well 😍
Just run hood exit m8. JZ atleast sound good straight piped haha
Im getting old and dislike hood exit exhausts and screamers 😅 im tempted to chuck a muffler in haha
I use a ruff 40amp per 1mm when tig welding. But you will never get a good weld on a used manifold
Yeah there was so much oil in there still, thought I got it all out but didn't haha Oh well will soon find out if it holds or not
@@doridrift403 it will hold!! Just not look any good, but who is looking anyway lol. Nah the oil and crap gets into the steel so you will almost never get all of it out
Incredible driving man
Thanks mate, appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment 🙂
You drove incredibly well considering your strut tower issue haha. Thanks for the vid, was very entertaining. Really loved the editing/voice over on this one.
Thanks mate, wish I spent a bit more time on the voice over part but I was way too tired after all the hours I spent editing it all haha
My bad not getting out the nose out the way 😅
Hahaha all good, spewing ya car died was having some decent laps
Would of felt like such a hard hit cause of how strong the falcon is haha
5:07 had me rollin
Haha classic
What mods on gtr?
Built motor with -5 turbos, power fc on 98 making 260kw. Soon to be upgraded for over 400kw
Awesome video .im planning to get one too
This is full sik mate damn 😎🔥🔥
Thanks for explaining what the KPI adjustment does in the context of drift, very useful insight.
Thanks mate, id like to do more dedicated videos explaining alot of steering/alignment things but I struggle to get the right explanation out in video most of the time haha
@@doridrift403 you did a good enough job with that, not only saying what it physically changes but how it changes the way it drives and why you'd want it to drive like that too and in the context of drift! Can never find this sort of information when I look.
@@samchristian665 yeah there's not alot of information out there relateable directly to drifting, I've just learnt most of it from experience and other experienced drivers. When I get the time I might make some videos explaining a few different things, I still want to do a video showing what traction arms are and what they do because I get asked that at least once a week haha then others like steering bind, why not to use offset rack spacers, scrub radius, kpi adjustment, Ackerman, caster trail, how to centre your rack etc, all pretty simple stuff for anyone who's been doing it for ages but all very confusing for newer people
Where’d you score the 4.9 diff? And how’d you find it recently at round two?
I got this complete diff 2nd hand at a decent price so was quite lucky with it, you can get 4.6 and 4.9 ratios out of a Nissan xterra, they are pretty rare here though I think they are more common in the states. You can get aftermarket gearsets in the above ratios and also 5.1 but they get pretty costly at 1k plus and you have to supply your own diff housing and then pay labour to get it all assembled. Its definitely made the car super fast, so stoked I did it. The next vid should be up this week and it will show how much faster its made the car
@@doridrift403 lucky bastard. Speaking to Zane at round two he said he got heaps lucky and got a 4.6 from u pull it so I’m gonna have to have a look or see if anyone is wrecking one. Just want to save the little SR box hopefully
@@mikebellend yeah definitely takes a bit of load off the box, another reason I went for a higher ratio as I kept blowing 3rd gear in my 25 box
Was this at the bend Motorsport park
Yeah mate
@@doridrift403 , I WAS THERE
I near wall which had all the tires marks are
Yeah rad, what did you think of the event?
@@doridrift403 , it was mental and the wall me and my dad were at. He called the wall the Jesus wall 🤣 because he so scared of the cars flying in to that corner
"OEM's failed a little bit" haha I lost it .
Hahaha, normally they do the job
Sik mate 🔥🔥
Thanks for letting us see what its like. The little GTR can still hold its own 💪
Hopefully have a bit more power next time and be even better 😍
So good!! 🔥🔥
