Many years ago, we built a small radio station with the help of one of the guy’s dad who was a ham radio operator. It was only 100 Milliwatts by law and could only have a 10 foot antenna including the lead in wire….We put the transmitter and the antenna together at the top of a big tree, and had almost a mile of transmission range. I had my little show called Dave’s Corner….Walk Don’t Run was the theme song and the Ventures have been with me ever since. Now, in my mid seventies I walk with a cane, so I really am Walk Don’t Run….
