Nice teardown of this 150 US $ plus contraption, I was more interested in the heating element than the other tech. (minute 330) Is the stainless "innard" not double wall/insulated......like a thermos or yeti style, hmmmmm. if it is a doble wall vacuum I wouldn't think the heat would transfer efficiently, but maybe it being metal it does somehow. I really looking for a teardown of the ember mug 2 rather than the travel version, wonder if it has the same heat band?

In the video it's not clear how you have removed the first back cover of the box. As it hasn't any visible point to be screwed or pulled. Can you explain better please?

I’m surprised that you had no comments on the connection pins that Mario use for detecting different power ups. A common problem is that they bend easily and that Mario stops detecting them. I currently have this issue for my sons lego mario, and I can’t find anyone showing how to fix them safely after a tear down. In your video, its clear that they are bent as well (maybe because og the tear down).

I also had a look inside this device. The main CPU is a AK1052DN048 and on the LED board is a GD32F130F4P6TR. Was hoping that i could fit in a ESP8266 to control the LEDs over MQTT or something.
