Thank you so much for sending me the link to this video. I don't know how I missed it. BUT it might have been better if I hadn't seen it. It is going to cost me! I had already decided after watching the first one that I was going to have to have some of the mica sprays. Now I think I am going to have to have the embossing folders you used too! They really worked well together. And I have to admit, the cards were so awesome before you decorated them that I couldn't even imagine how you would or could improve on the bases. But you did! I got so excited, I think I have a lot of ephemera and vintage pieces that will work great with this project. Now, I am just gonna have to figure out how to stretch my Christmas crafting budget (since I have pretty much already spent it) so I can get a few of the sprays (and maybe mix them with some of the spray stains I already have) and at least one of the embossing folders. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!

You had shared Uncle Wiggly's and his Friends. I ordered that book and just love it. The one I ordered online also was a gift from a grandparent to a grandchild. It says, "to Sherie from Pop and Nanna, Christmas 1969". We never had books when I was a wee child. I don't recall any books until I went to school. I loved to read! I did get a doll when I was about 4 years old. My brother went to school and the teacher sent it home for me at Christmas time! It was a treasure but blew away in a tornado, along with every other treasure I had then. I don't have any of my writing as a child or school papers or anything, but I wish I did. Oh well. When it comes to tornado's, as long as life isn't lost, everything else doesn't matter. Love your Peanuts Treasury and the cookbook. Love the old ads and how it was in life back then. Great memories!!
