I just finished filming a theater festival. (BMCC 2.5k + Sigma 17 - 55 2.8 + Canon 85 1.8). With the permission of the Odin Teatret, I am presenting one of the films screened during the festival.

I use film box. Definitely love this plugin.

What lens do you use here?

Very nice shots with the Production camera. I currently use Bmpcc og with Speedbooster or super 16 lenses. I was considering getting a used 4k Production camera but read about fixed pattern noise. It it just a matter of proper exposure or are some of the cameras faulty- or perform worse etc? Thanks for your opinion.

Beautifull look - what plugin do you personally prefer to use when emulating film? I would imagine it could also depend on the project, etc. that is being undertaken; but I personally enjoy the "less is more" approach and was thinking... the Film box plugin and ease of use... 🤔

Oh yeah, loving the look and feel of the BMCC 2.5k grade in the opening scene. Very authentic and well done in choosing the right vehicle era theme, as the subject choice only builds on the visual connection of that era and transports the viewer back in time. Well done! The Dehancer plugin is a winner here in the first scene. However, I'm personally not too keen on the look of the Ursa 4.6k look and grade, compared to the BMCC 2.5k.

I love the look of the Film-box plugin in this grade (on the right). The images overall look & feel are far more natural and pleasing to the eye and therefore doesn't distract compared to the same images processed in the FU grade, which I personally find to be unnatural and distracting. Look and price is all subjective and so is time spent in post. Thanks for sharing your content. Take Care

Why is it that the lower the resolution, the more beautiful it is? But if I suppose I use a lens for a 16mm cinema camera with a frame size of 7.45x10.05 mm on a bmcc 2.5k camera in maximum quality mode, will this be of any use, and will it be more cinematic? Is there a minimum resolution threshold that it is better not to cross?

And how much worse is black magic 6k ff than Ursa 4.6k in terms of film perception, after dehancer processing?
