The new artwork for my upcoming album - 'Four and Twenty Blackbirds Dancing on a Deer Skin' - has arrived! Ian Bell printed directly on the goat skin head of my 1880s Buckbee banjo, which I will remount and photograph with some moveable type. Stay tuned for the final product sometime over the next few days!

I'm excited to release this new video into the world! Recorded on a chilly and extremely windy day on Wolfe Island by Josh Lyon. Alan and Elizabeth Lomax first recorded Bradley Browning, of Arjay, Kentucky singing Fare Thee Well, Green Fields. I learned it from Mike Seeger and play it on an experimental long neck gourd banjo.
