Do you see situation, this video is not'h continous record. The player is subsequently installed, or it's AI product.
How wonderful performance ❤
I don't want to hear this, I will never play again...
❤❤❤
Un mostro. Grandissima esecuzione e padronanza assoluta dello strumento
bold motives, i like it, rather more
Soooo badddd!!
Плавнее надо.
Браво!
It's a pity you didn't upload the third movement!
This is a ridiculously good reading :-o
Класс
Why is the audience so dead
Anyone listening in post quarantine?
The name Alexei Volodin sounds like a bootleg of Alexander Borodin
LOL
ooh me small brain very like
So very, cleanly played. You'll have N Kapustin's blessings.
Very clean sound, as good as Kapustin. Brilliantly executed, Alexie.
This is a great piece, but I hear people play it rhapsodically, slowing down and speeding up for expression. That's quite unlike Kapustin's own recording, where he maintained a steady pulse through the whole thing. The piece was inspired by the Harlem stride pianists of the 1930s, who developed the full "two-handed" style so they could fill in for dance bands. Listen to Kapustin's version, and I think you'll have a much better idea what he had in mind. :?)
I'm awfully happy with the fact someone have the same opinion as mine!!
You are definitely right. But Alexei Volodin is a classically trained pianist. So he interpreted the piece in his own way. If you asked a jazz pianist to perform the piece he/she would likely to play it the way you described.
My lord this is so great. Can't ever imagine being able to play this.
Listen to other performances. Then you'll see just how good this one is.
Es único, me apasiona!
Very impressive. The orchestra sounds so lush and pianist is on full power. He was a judge at a Tchaikovsky piano competition.
STUPENDO ! WOW BRAVOOOO
Supernatural tempo. Interesting interpretation.
it‘s a shame that this brilliant sonata is that rarely played by todays pianists..
They would rush it to a chaotic mess.
@@tarikeld11 true, Hamelin sprints through this piece like a tiger was chasing him. No time to appreciate the piece cuz of how fast he plays it.
Joey Tribbiani plays the piano !!
great!
it's elegant🙂,but I prefer the Lang Lang version👌
sorry goes on forever and sounds the same throughout , boring not like the classics
??
sam333 sorry shut up.
You just don't understand this music yet.
If it sounds "the same throughout" for you, that's only because you were only able to remember the first few dozen measures, then your senses got overloaded. Too much stimuli. I hope you recover 👍🏻
What on earth are you talking about? This is one of the greatest piano sonatas ever composed. Time for bed, Grandpa!
Is there video on the missing 3rd movement? Really looking forward to watch that!
fantastic!
lovely!
wonderful...! Alexei Volodin,
23 May 2010 St. Petersburg (If I'm not wrong..)
Amazingly bright sonata
Grande Volodin. Come sempre.
Santi Calabrò sa
BRAVO !!!❤❤❤
Потрясающе! Брависсимо!
Да... Убедительное воплощение редакции Зилоти. От духа Чайковского мало что осталось. Зато очень хорошо ощущается, чьим учеником был Александр Ильич :)
0:23 wtf camera man
amazingly super human
Volodin gives us a straightforward, no-nonsense and technically pristine performance of this old chestnut that somehow sounds like a world premiere, so electrifying is the excitement he generates. I've heard this played by just about every pianist here on RUclips and then some and somehow I still got goose-bumps for the first time in years just listening to the closing of the first movement. Trist me, those closing octaves will leave you breathless. Volodin reminds me a lot of Russell Crowe here, not that that should matter. Notice how he snaps his wrists back quite a bit after striking the keyboard. I wonder if that is a technique he was taught to give the chords more crispness. All in all, one of the most exceptional performances here on RUclips. Beats out the Kissin/Karajan but I think that's Karajan's fault. If you watch Karajan closely you'll notice he hardly ever looks at his young soloist, like he couldn't give a damn about Kissin and expects Kissin to follow HIS tempos. Power has privileges. Oh, and the overhead camera angles of Volodin are spectacular.
Wonderful rendition, so affectionate! My Russian soul is singing <3 Great camera work, too: couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome composition and performance. Although i don't know exactly with this composition. but you did very well dude! first time i know and loving this composition because of your performance
Dont try to impress with the technic you have.. try to impress with the music you can give!!!!
BRAVO ALEXEI!
NK knows how to write a showstopper.
