Tēnā koutou katoa, Hello, It is Rewai Te Kahu, this channel has been created to encourage people to live out their faith, in Jesus Christ, transformation, empowerment and activation are the keys to life!
God is speaking to us all the time and in many ways (Ps 29). Our job is to align to what He is doing in our lives and community.
We also consider other life issues we all face from time to time. Albeit from being a husband, a father, a veteran, and a man in todays world. We explore the use of personal reflections, how I use karakia, beekeeping, māra kai (gardening) through our community Kaitiaki Māra Kai: Backyard Gardens project and cooking to connect to those around us'.
God is interested in all we do, he wants to be a part of it and he can heal us from the pain we carry at times. He will restore, Eze 36:36, that which was broken. The aim in life is to know him and make him known, God is good and he is great. The goodness of God has helped me through the challenges.

And they respond, "kei te awangawanga, kei te mauiui, kei te ngenge, te aha ranei..." And then they elaborate on that. These are tough times we are facing, so it is good to walk alongside others and to tautoko them in their space/frame of mind and encourage if needs be, or just listen. Kia noho tonu nei te whakawahiatanga o te Wairua Tapu ki a koutou ki a tatou kia wetekina nga uraura, nga herekino kia puta atu ai te ira tangata ki te wheiao ki te ao marama e!

Tino tautoko e hoa. Mahinga Kai has many facets as you know. Having the ability to not only raise maara kai but foraging and harvesting wild food is another pukenga for our people to learn. We also think about our meat supplies e.g. hipi, koti, poaka, kau etc... using those sustainable tikanga practices. So much to learn. And as we know, it is the hard times that push us into learning/re-learning these old ways. Mauri ora ki te rangi, mauri ora ki te whenua, mauri ora ki a tatou katoa...
