Why is it titled to 1996 when it came out in 1995 lol
To mark her first decade of hits, even though she had been a recording star since she was 16 (her first album came out in 1982), but _Control_ (third album) established her as a superstar, and her first _major_ album. Similar to Christina Aguilera's _Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits_ a few years later.

Roemello Baum Certain singles didn't hit or they were planned for a release overseas. The singles overseas sometimes are way bigger than in the states.

People that went to this tour back in 1990 Tour are the luckiest people!! I wish I went?! I was out in the boonies where there were NO concerts to go to!! Sucks!! So then I’ve have to relocate to a city of my choice!! Minneapolis MN!! OMG!! What great shows I’ve been to since!!

Why was this tour never released? Nothing about this works for me: boots; hair; set. Even back then, I thought this show was strange, in that many elements didn't work together. POerhaps that's why she never released it. It just wasn't great.

Im with you bro...of all Janet tours this was my least favorite. Rhythm Nation amd Velvet Rope are ties. State of The World Next. Up Close and Personal. Rockwitchu. Those are the tours that stood out to me. Rockwitchu was the only one I attended.
@@LeeDfinedthis tour had her best opening no doubt. Her head bobbing to “if” while descending on that platform was just eye candy. Also, she had that “thriller” voice introduce her and just yeah…..it was perfection. Also, the Janet tour was her most attended tour followed by the rhythm nation tour and velvet rope tour and then A4U. However, those stats may not be accurate because most of her tour information (ticket sales, attendance, dates) are simply unavailable. I think the Janet tour had the biggest physical stage, either that or “all for you” had the bigger stage. Nonetheless, the stage had a lot of detail, while her other tours mostly used a bare stage, apart from her whimsical sections (which I hate with a passion) Omg her rockwicthu tour is what I equate Beyoncé’s renaissance tour with. The stage was LARGE and fitting for someone of her status. I didn’t like the hair and I felt she was a little stiff with a lot of the dancing, but the set list was amazing. She was more fluid during the SOTW tour, but I wished that tour had better costumes and a bigger stage and a better set list.
