Its a no brainer for me ! The one I have has heated collar too ! Keeps me warm as toast for approx. 7 hours on low setting with my power bank ! Cheers !

@FiftyandNifty paid about 65 off eBay, absolute bargain. Upgraded to the flex tail air mat, another eBay bargain about the same price. Well worth looking, got a naturehike air mat for 65 for my son this week. Wasn't worth paying almost twice as much for the newer higher r value one. We put thick foil mats down to protect floor and for warmth anyways. I'm 50 next week, so not far behind you lad... Cheers

That is a bargain ! Yeah I find a foil sheet and roll mat does the trick in winter.....still love the comfort of my UL80.......but just waiting for this one to go down ! May need to change the channel name in a couple years as pushing 60 now ! Maybe call it "Shifty but Nifty" !

Thanks ! The bivvy bag as extra to my sleeping bag does keep heat in but downside is the condensation builds up inside. Not great with a down bag as can make it start to clump up. I find better way is to use a cheap thin bag inside my main bag ( mummy bag inside my wide nature hike bag) and this works better for me. Cheers

I remember the time stranded in the Rocky mountains for 3 hours and all we could find to eat were moose turds and dead squirrel. I developed a taste for both and have them shipped over now weekly for Sunday dinner and Christmas.

In my opinion it is essential to get the ground sheet. This will protect the base of the tent as , whilst it is quite strong, there is always a chance you could snag or tear it in stone or something. I also find it helps me set a good position for the tent set up before actually setting up tent. Cheers !

I believe you CAN charge and use at same time ( but would need to check this) . My solar panel is rated 100W ( seldom reaches that in UK) and works fine.
