For this last Jamuary session I sampled my electric guitar but its weirder sounds: electric noise of plugging wire into the guitar, fingers sliding along the bass string, flageolets, plucking the muted strings, etc. and combined them into the last celebratory sequence! Today I went microtonal. I created a palette of trigs representing the first 15 harmonics normalised to one octave and created a melody using only them. Elektron Digitakt allows tuning samples to a precision of one cent which is more than enough to say that it's a Real Just Intonation.
