There is more than one ability bar. If you look closely to the bottom right corner, you will see the small number "1" with small arrows nearby. Click on the arrow and your next abilities shold show up. I had the same problem, i wrote about it in the survey. It is quite messy without any real order of which ability shows up in the first and which in the second action bar.

hmm, I've never used cutthroat, will definitely try that build. For some reason I always stayed away from it, because of two valor point cost. Will test that and if that would work for me, create the guide. Also waiting for new DLC to see what kind of units will come up and how will be the general state of the game. That's why haven't posted about the wartales for a while.

Hmm, from my experience this is a very high damage, even higher than some weapons. Maybe they changed the amount of damage one can do in the latest patch? 2.13 is the one I guess, don't know. But overall it's super fun to play and that's what matters :D

@@Gaming-Rishi-Hut Of course, this is why I am trying it. Dex is waiting and I am lvl 50 strret creed and 60 character level XD It's a blast to play this build. Also, which may matter, my last playthrough was on 1.3 XD

@@patron3442 I've had some health issues lately and couldn't upload. I haven't thought about the playthrough but I've had a challenge to fight 50 enemies with 5 only, I thought it would be fun :D

yeah, it is, with latest update they nerfed it, but it is still very good

hmm, really? I've never had that, or I don't remember, need to double check. If I remember correctly Archer version of that, one with the overwatch skill can not be knocked back, I'd assume it's same for this but not sure.

Thanks for the feedback. This was my initial train of thought: I'd like to show how the build plays out visually i.e create videos and then explain nitty gritty details through written form, i.e posts. Also when I was looking for guides for this and other games, usually I really miss the gameplay part it's little to non-existent in most build guides out there. So I guess I overdid it on my part :D I don't think I'll include entire explanation of builds in videos, but you're right, the poisoner is pretty damn complex build and there's a lot going on there. So explaining a thing or two wouldn't hurt that. So solution is this: whenever I see that there's a complex build or a lot going on behind the scenes, I'll explain that specific thing in a clear and concise way, so it wouldn't disrupt the gameplay flow.

@@Gaming-Rishi-Hut Cool thx, would you maybe recommend a setup for a warband including the numbers of every class you would take in for a succesful extrem run?

@@dag.3057 I don't play extreme, only expert difficulty. That is because of increased valor consumption, it simply ruins the battles and it becomes a chore. As for the composition this might work: 1. Have only 4 mercs, increase the size and you need more money, more food, etc. Unless you enjoy grinding the money with trading and stupid tavern crap, it will be really hard 2. Have two tanks. One swordsman and brute, or two swordsman, or one pure tank swordsman and another hybrid tank either brute or swordsman. The thing is you won't be able to use skills much on extreme, therefore you have to go for more of a passive play, where you do retaliation attacks and so on. So you need to survive the grind 3. Have a pikeman, which is something I already covered, so you reinforce the frontline and deal extra damage as enemies attack 4. Have one pure damage dealer. Hunter, assassin, poisoner or even pugilist. Maybe I'll try extreme once again so I can come up with the best party comp for that, anyways hope that helps

@@Gaming-Rishi-Hut Thx for the answer, maybe i stay with normal gameplay. having such a small warband would make me feel like i am missing much of the game...I allready tend to use more of the amored up guys in my warbands.But i think you are right, if you have to much mercs in your band, it is a grind. There are stories of people who use 30 or even more and i think that would be crazy.

Yes exactly, all classes have extra skills that can be unlocked, I don't want to spoil things for you, but if you'd like, let me know and I'll post exactly how you can get it

@@jinfeng2806 it depends how you explore the map, I play on adaptive so you're kind of free to go wherever you want, if you haven't found it yet and you're in Ludern right now, you'll get it after Ludern, in different region

Glad you liked it, it is expert difficulty, forgot to mention that, I usually play the games on hardest difficulty. In this case I don't really like the extreme because of increased valor consumption, played that couple of times and it's just not fun, no skill is worth using and spending so much points, so in the end it just becomes the grind. I love challenge but as long as it's fun. So I think builds will perform well on extreme difficulty as well, but haven't tested that myself, other than that all of the builds I've made so far should be good on any difficulty. As I've said they are playtested on expert difficulty.

@@Gaming-Rishi-Hut yeah i agree. I like challenges but as long as its fun, otherwise its just torture, lol. But im respecing my spearman and will try your build. Also, I noticed your party is fairly small, is that usually how you play? Cause mine currently has 13 people, 3 ponies.

@@alexeizaraiov yeah most of the time I'd like to keep my party small, because they are just easier to manage, also what I've found is that not all the builds/characters work well together. I might run with different compositions though, but in terms of numbers my party doesn't exceed 4 or 5 mercs. Besides having larger group on expert difficulty just drains your money :D and I'm too lazy to grind for that with trading and stupid tavern (I mean the DLC)

This has changed how I’m going to develop my new game going into the future and I’ll be so much more confident with my team. I have couple of builds ready from my current playthrough: pikeman, halberdier, tank damage dealer, tank swordsman, tank brute, swordmaster and executioner. On top couple of experimental builds :D also any other games you're interested in? Currently playing Cyberpunk 2077, probably will cover that at some point as well

@@Gaming-Rishi-Hut I cannot for the life of me make a decent Pikeman or Halberd build, so I’d be very keen to see what you have up your sleeve with either or both of those. Ideally, I want my Spearman to be able to throw his weapon, but everything I’m trying seems to come up very sub-par. Your mention of “experimental builds” sounds intriguing! Re other games, I think 2024 has been an exceptional year for games, so I’d be keen to see what’s taken your fancy. I started the year with Wartales, moved effortlessly into Enshrouded, fell head over heels a few weeks later with Helldivers 2, FINALLY caught up with the sublime Subnautica (pun intended) after that, then it was Manor Lords, then it was Ghost of Tsushima, then back into my old stalwart Division 2 and now I’m back in with my cozy favourite Wartales again, bought Pirates and the Tavern DLC’s and I’m absolutely loving it. I’ll round out out the year with Jump Ship, Wukong and the new and very much improved looking No Mans Sky. Talk about being spoiled?! I’ve been constantly on the fence about Cyberpunk….with any luck, your upcoming postings might give me a push 😉.

Oh man, that's a basic build that I presented, because I wanted to keep the build as simple as possible without any crazy gear, but in my personal playthrough I have another duelist with optimized gear that deals tons of attacks of opportunities and is tank at the same time, I'll create a guide for it in the future

Rishi is Sanskrit term that means sage. So it would be Gaming Sage, I thought it was a funny combination :D
