This new SLC International Airport is by far state of the art, neat, aesthetic but simple and modest. I can see the Mormon standard of this facility. I love its simplicity unlike the overly decorated South East Asian Airports.
I ❤ this airport. It's like a shopping mall. Very clean and the lower level terminal train is fast.

I went to this airport on my flight to Houston Texas.
How far is shuttle to D gates from ticketing?
The shuttle takes about 5 minutes

You were flying over the city! That approach leads to La Guardia airport. Seeing it was Southwest lots of people probably knew that.

Harry Reid formally McCarron intl is my favorite airport 🛫 ,I've flown in & out of here multiple times over the years ,it is well set up and has a variety of restaurants and stores if your flight is delayed or layed over .I always look forward to coming here
It’s a very nice airport indeed
My mom freaked out one year in Detroit, we were in a good size snowstorm and she was worried about them not deicing the planes good enough. We were able to take off it was very bumpy but she was okay once she knew the plane was safely in the air. I am not a huge fan of flying through any kind of storms but as long as the pilots are well trained I’m good. I thought one year flying to FL from Michigan was going to be canceled due to heavy snow and the storm, they cleared the runway I think 3 times before we could board and take off, had no flight delays but a very bumpy ride for a bit. I can handle the bumpiness when I’m sick but when I’m not I get paranoid and have to look out the window.
