The Dilemma of the Green Transition: Insights from the Uppsala Health Summit discussion at Almedalen
Almedalen is a park in Visby, on the island of Gotland, Sweden. It is most famous for hosting Almedalen Week (Almedalsveckan), an annual event that is a significant meeting place for Swedish politics and social issues.
During Almedalen Week, representatives from all major Swedish political parties, various organizations, and the public gather for discussions, speeches, and debates. This event started in 1968 and has become a significant platform for political dialogue and civic engagement.

Men motsatt agerande riskerar att leda till nya hot mot människa och miljö. in most African countries, there is still very high and aggressive malnutrition resulting from among other factors, inadequate consumption of nutrient dense foods. In rural areas for example, meals are mostly made from green leafy vegetables. Proteins including eggs are either for sale to meet other basic needs or are not just affordable. How can the agenda to transform diets in line with the urgent need to take action and mitigate and address climate change consequences, without pushing these populations further into malnutrition and poor health?

The story of the "when the Food Systems went to a doctor really captured the complexity of food systems. Indeed, this is not a single bullet matter but one that requires all hands on the deck. And it is true, leadership really plays a key role. Someone must be the enabler-enabling multi-stakeholders at multi levels with multiple interests for a common goal!

Stories are very effective way to communicate. The author deserves congratulations for her creativity in weaving a powerful story around the food system and cover a lot of content. I liked the analogy of food system being sick (and making people sick with it), only doing 'calories and cash' and missing out on environment and health. The reference to 'heart' of the problem is portrayed as corporations and big businesses, I could only agree partially on this. While corporations have made many glaring mistakes, it is mostly their efforts together with the governments which has made the global food markets function more efficiently and the largescale famines and starvations of 19th and early 20th century have practically vanished. Nevertheless, inclusion is a big issue, which needs renewed focus. The story ends happily, though in reality mending the food system will not be that easy. We all will have to work hard to fix the nut and bolts of the food system. All in all, a great story !

Leave the Farmers alone. Bug eating is unsafe. Stop the ge0engineering that is poisoning and stunting our crops, water and all living creatures on earth, it is the cause of the climate changes seen today before that it was natural events that happens in cycles. Stop allowing dangerous chemicals in our food. The earth is not over populated with humans it is over populated QuackAdemics. The damage the Earth has suffered is at the hands of the captains of industry in the Industrial Revolution, the bankers, those with enormous wealth, the politicians, they laid out the plans and the people had no alternative but to follow. Their progeny has followed in their footsteps degrading and destroying our ways of life. STOP GASLIGHTLIGHTING THE PEOPLE with your weaponized words, false narratives and fake news. The WHO = WorldHomocide0rganization. Filthy disgusting nonhumans who want the rest of us dead.

I just found out about Steven Hayes work and ACT. I have been struggling with social anxiety for a while and I have a great hope act would make me at least be in peace with it if not reduce its impact. I realized almost all my time and effort goes into experimental avoidance. No wonder I feel missing out all the time. I appreciate Steven Hayes and the work he has done through out is life. I hope I can pay it forward.

Dear Mr.Peter Daszak I'm writing to tell you that I sat and listened to you today with Fareed Zakaria and he asked you, being the virus hunter you are so acclaimed to be you ducked and spun your way of saying that the virus started in the lab, which I overstand that you might not have been there when it began but I do overstand that if it came from the wet market and knowing how many years before they been eating bats for years now so please don't treat knowledge into fake news..... This virus is a human made lab virus attacking organs with strength not known....just go to the lab and demand a antidote to the virus... Am I the only one who see that china is supplying the world with PPE and ventilators how ironic is that. So politicians and scientist quit lying to the people of the world and speak the truth .....
