Not sure it's possible the way you propose. Can't see how I could collect enough Evolutionary Feats alone. According to my calculation, I need at least 72% of the feat in order to reach the -2 mil. years mark. Being alone means that a lot of the intimidation are not possible, can't grow my clan, can't grow that much my neuronal network (no kids to unlock the mutation, which gate some of the progression), can't adapt the metabolisim.. etc.. etc..

Its possible if you actually get the rest of the clan and have babies instead of keeping on going..you had an option to meet a new clan member but went right by it

Hi Recinese. It's pure luck. Never did anything special except pressing & releasing the button in time. There's a "lucky kill" chance in every encounter, as much as there's a chance of breaking the weapon.

To my knowledge, this game has sold 1 million + copies so far... that was almost a year ago. Not that bad for this game made by 35 peoples...

yeah, its kinda shame how easy this game is, i wish it did more to simulate evolution, like as you get better at walking and running on your hind legs, you get worse at climbing. And maybe as you adapt and change your diet you cant eat leaves anymore (like khat). Also, as you increase how many neurons you get, you slowly need to eat and drink and rest more to fuel your big brain, so at the beginning you maybe need 2 hours of sleep, but at the end you need 8 hours. I also kinda wish that making tools wasnt as easy as literally getting one neuron (the one to switch hands)

@@michaelangers5373 this is just stuff that I got from watching a 1 hour documentary a while back lol. Maybe my inner boomer is showing, but games are often too easy nowadays, I think that at the very least, the option should be given to ramp up the difficulty, a lot

@@redrangerrr558 Haaa !!! right !! Tbh, since the clan's hud was not flashing red, he did not bleed to death. So the only thing left might be the fact that, because he was holding something in his hand, he was not able to mimic me when I was eating. So my guess at this point : he starved to death

@@homoergaster1657 let's use common sense and logic. He died cause he had the triple factor of death and wait forever to do anything about it which is standard for this whole entire gameplay. Venom poisoning, bleeding to long before you stop it and a broken leg that you do nothing for. You basically run through this game and nothing else. Should have called this Clan Killer

yes it probably just spawn nearby every 5 minutes

@@homoergaster1657 I think his point is speedruns usually are done in one go contained in a single video. Speed runs for games like GTA, Assassin's Creed, God of War etc, are uploaded in one video even though they take 20++ hours. Nevertheless, I believe you have the fastest speedrun for this game mate, and I enjoy yours done in parts since it is easier for us to learn from. Thanks for the hard work.

I did the opposite : finish the game without connecting any neurons together. Does it count ? ;)

The first time we saw it was like in part 4 i think so like A long time

Also im pretty sure the game makes it so when you left an area and an animal species you previously injured but never killed spawns, they give it the same damage as the one you fought before

that's the idea ; the more stuff you do with the starting species, the more "ahead of time" bonus you collect in your first evolution. when the goal is to reach the -2 millions years' mark as fast as possible, you want these bonus as much as possible... Took me a while to learn how to play that way :)

@@homoergaster1657 lots of LPers never show their face and some even have voices that make my ears bleed and they still rake in millions of subscribers

hum... good question ! When I was playing, I guess I felt confident enough to lead (almost) everyone to safety without arming them all... Plus, I would have cost me a lot of time to do so and might have impacted my final time.

@@homoergaster1657 I think if you armed each of your group with 2 weapons you could take weapons from them during a fight so you don't have to find a tree to get a sharpened stick you have several I think it would save you time in the "short" run

@@homoergaster1657 It's much quicker to have the others mimic the whole process, I used to have an encampment full of all sorts of crap made this way.
