We are living a n a time where people live together in one building apartment above apartment how in the world can you burn woods oil stove's ect, centrale heating ok but everyone has to pay their part Wich is not always the case, indipendent heating whit out gas isn't an option. In a time not so long ago my parents warmed the living room with caolstove, the bed rooms where friesing cold, 60years. Thus I say today the Amish way is not for modern family.

Kerosine Lamps are made with electricity and other modern machines and energy sources. I guess there is some flexability there. What about municipalities that wont give you an occupancy permit unless you have electricity, plumbing etc. in your home? Does the freedom of Religion cover that for them? If it does, I'm converting tomorrow! I'm building a home now. Not only do you have to have electricity in your home, you have to have a certain number of plugs and lights in every room.

Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever before with you. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" Will you today genuinely and sincerely, by faith, receive Jesus into your life for salvation?

@@KristieEsslingeryes, trees plant themselves actually and man does a yard get overgrown within a year! Maybe large corporations should stop cutting down forests and then we'd all have enough wood.
