I get 112 fps Ray Tracing on and 1440p epic rtx 3070(130w) laptop msi gp66 leopard with dlss quality

The aliasing on that big door is horrific. Just found this as playing in 1440p with aliasing on or off, that same door is a shimmering wobbling mess. So nothing to do with my system, this is hwo the game is? Aliasing is strange. Our sensitivity to it changes. I played it a few years agi in 1080p on a smaller monitor and never noticed it at all. Now, half the screen is like a writhing shimmering mess and it makes some games (like this) unplayable for me.

I have the same cpu and gpu and it runs the exact same mine was 65.23 tho

I have same pc as you but my gpu usage is between 50~60% and cause lots of frame dropes

We got the better improved version of the game, with more than 30 zombie types to fight against and tons of weapons. The original Dead Island 2 game was no where near the same level as the 2023 release.

Thanks for bringing the survivor gameplay, it's rare for test channels to bring the survivor gameplay, few know but the survivor has a lower FPS compared to Jason because the game details are more visible to the survivor..

Fascinating seeing this after the re-reveal. The art direction seems to be completely different, but that's about the only thing you can judge at a glance. I won't be surprised if Matt McMuscles does an episode of What Happened on this game in the near future. And by that, I mean that it's damn near inevitable.

This hits different after seeing the new gameplay footage, it's good to see this game is still alive.

Thank you! I had to do some tweaking, some ultra to high and some high to medium but I get between 55-65 fps and it looks incredible on my Ultrawide 3440x1440p (2070 Super) (Ryzen 5 3600x) you're the man!! 🤙🏼

Quest 2 standalone looks better graphically. Saying otherwise would be blasphemous.

I have a 3090 and whenever I'm in the major cities I can't even push past 50fps sometimes with the occasional major stutters on 1440p. I just hope this game gets better optimisation because I really enjoy it and its really disappointing how badly it performs especially in areas where most of the interesting stuff happen.
