I made sure that I cut mine over the support bracing for the bed that way I can screw it back down. I also removed my bed liner instead of being lazy...

Make sure and use OEM parts ordered directly from GM they will last longer here are the parts you will need: A driver side rail ,a passenger side rail. A driver side rail cover, a passenger side rail cover. a driver side channel molding One for the driver side one for the passenger side. These are shorter than the original molding. They span between the rail and the edge of the channel which is the windshield you will also need 8 M6 castellated nuts but you can get from AutoZone or the hardware store again be very careful of ordering parts off of eBay and Amazon always use OEM parts.

This was very helpful. I obtained the side rails from an auto vendor on ebay that sold them for about $175 +$60shipping. The only thing I needed to pick up was the 10mm nuts(cost like 2 bucks at home depot). Install time was 10 minutes. Installed to a GMC 2015 Terrain. Biggest issue was the weak plastic on the side rails. The tips of each side rail snapped during shipping. A little super glue put them back together. Took a look at a GMC vendor and the "genuine" parts dealers was going to charge like $600 for all the parts. Each side rail was $200 on their site and they were not sold as a pair.

Do those dimensions work on a 2007 to 2013 extended cab short box.

My truck ain't pretty but it is mine & it has mostly new parts including an engine w/ 10k on it.... the old one got 330k miles. So I'm worrying about this hole in the bed.... YOU said this right; They should have come w/ an access hole !!!! but they didn't & I'm here now,,, thanks for the video

I have fixed this problem on 2 previous Pour-OMatic brewers (early 90's and early 00's vintage) using a kit obtained at no charge from Bunn customer service each time. I'm guessing they are no longer so willing? The plastic on the later one (Model GR) is now disintegrated too far so I'm hoping Bunn-O-Matic Corp. has improved the design on current offerings before I drop $120+ on a new machine. Does anyone know?

Very different configuration for 2019 Equinox. There is no channel on the roof. Looks like 4 rectangular areas each about 4”x 2”. Those areas appear to be hard plastic or at least non metal substances. Guess I’ll keep searching.

just remove the bed bolts -4 on each side, disconnect the fuel fill tube, disconnect the lights- lift the bed up and back- easy-easy!

Done yesterday on a 2000. Did 4 " from the top, self tapped metal back in .mcut out the whole square , use duck tape on the sharp edges ! It will save you from getting cut ! That's it . This guy couldn't have said it any better . I hope he makes enough from this vid to buy a new truck .

As long as you do it right put some hinges and a latch and make it like a normal every day door then I don’t see what these dumbass folks on here , whinny and saying , you ruined your truck bed and shit!!! 95% of the time if your truck is 10yrs old or more your bolts to the bed will be seized up and more than like break 1-2 off and same goes for stripes on tank, it’s perfect and a 5 min job without laying on your back getting dirt and shit in your eyes, hell a person wearing a tuxedo can change his pump in 5-10 mins on side of the road. At the most it’s a 15x9 hole in your bed that opens and closes and would never know it’s there if you have a liner, smart thinking , it’s hard enough to be outside in 15 degrees or like me 98 with heat index of 115 , so calling this man a dumbass or whatever just shows that your the dumbass for not finding a easy solution like this!! And everyone already know a mechanic is always trying to find a easier way to do something to fix whatever but charge the same amount or jack up prices to make smart folks come up with ways to do it there self and not pay someone 5 hrs labor at 45-70 and hour now that’s a dumbass

Did this recently. In my opinion this way was easier than taking off bed, tilting bed or lowering full tank of fuel. Plus makes it easy to get to if have to change again and bedliner covers the patch.

No the bed will rot to shit quick. Lol. If GM was really smart, they would of designed an line fuel pump. Oh. Stop buying the cheap aftermarket junk. Theres a reason why the oem lasted 125k

It's always convenient to have a hatch because you will never be stranded . You can carry an extra pump, change it out and keep going down the road.
