Hi! Call me Run-DMG or Ryan whichever you prefer! I love all things D&D and when I decided to teach myself video editing there was nothing else I wanted to focus on! My channel is pretty new and I am still learning and experimenting so If you have anything you want to see or any feedback about my videos let me know! I am currently focusing on shorts and tiktok style videos, but hope to make longer form videos in the future! If you want more content with my voice in it I'm on the cast of a 5e D&D podcast Dice Populi and guest on various other podcasts and streams!
Mine is disguised as a kobold as a pawn shop collector who just lost his hoard to the bbeg. Right now he is looking for spoons
I basically only research DnD as library of metaphor to use in magical practice. Bag man is one of my favorites. It represents some very interesting and deep things about the human psyche.
That reminds me of one of my DM when I was new D&d made it where there was a group of wizards did a ritual and after that they all took one of the other numbers soul contain and they moved all across the land making it near impossible to kill them
Grain of sand at the bottom of the ocean is my favorite
Hydra lich with the ability to cast solid illusions
Needs material and knowledge and tools and it should be way higher than 30.
Dc should be above 50 for an individual. Also just like how black powder isn't chemically the same in D&D radiation isn't nessecarily a thing as matter doesn't follow our same physical rules, magic is the source of reality not quantum forces and atomic structures.
Never. EVER. Touch Mommy Tarrasque babies. THEY DON'T LIVE LONG AS IT IS!
The only way to "play" dnd again, im sorry brother
This one's less a newbie player and more a complete idiot. Seriously, who hears a title like "The queen of air and darkness" and thinks it's a good person to make deals with?
Pointy hat lich paladin highly recommend
So if Mr cheddar was to get the death ward spell cast on him before hand and he had any way to resist necrotic damage as well as a skull helmet which explicitly says that if you already resist necrotic it grants immunity then Mr cheddar would survive with one hp and be immune to the damage over time caused by radiation poisoning
I see coolio
Dc 30 finding uranium isotope, Dc 35 making a uranium isotope. Dc40 getting out of the blast range
Power of Friendship is figuring all the cool stuff you can collectively come up with before it becomes a war crime in-universe.
Oh noooo...... Oh nooooooo.....
Dean Winchester in one of the parallel realities
The map stuff took me out
Hopefully in a good way 😂
There is a myth about an undying giant whose heart was kept outside his body in an egg in a duck or in a trout in some versions. Turn that into a soul instead of a heart and the story is about an undying lich giant.
😂😂😂😂
Dragons in 5e like most monsters in 5e are mechanically less interesting than they were in earlier editions. You can make them more interesting with homebrews and optional rules, and good roleplaying, but the base versions in the MM tend to be dull as fuck.
Or make it an atom and in order to kill them they have to split the atom thus - nuke
I have a deathly fear of alzheimers beacuse of personal reasons so the false hydra really is a major freak out for me. Such a cool monster
You had me at pizza
a specific grain of sand in a desert.
At that level, might as well let him have it.
I figured out how Mr. Cheddar survived. You said he couldn’t teleport because it would go off in five seconds and average is six seconds. However, if you are able to take an action and a bonus action on each turn, that means that neither an action nor a bonus action would actually take the full six seconds and they would probably take about three seconds each, therefore Mr. cheddar could have teleported before the nuke went off
Also I recommend a channel called “pointy hat” he is an animator and has this “which lich” series and makes liches based on different dnd classes
I had a lich that was a wandering salesman. He was disguised as an elf man in a black cloak and he carried of rug that was rolled up. Inside the rug was a ton of cursed items. When encountering him, one player was an elf, so they immediately saw that this guy was undead behind his illusion. They spoke with him for a bit, he rolled out his carpet, and instructed each of them to just "take one, each." I'm surprised they never tried to fight him.
heeeeeey that's nice and all but... that's bludgeoning damage if you use dynamite as the rule of thumb meaning anything with immunity to non-magical bludgeoning is impervious to the nuke. so like... Mr Cheese was a werewolf all along. There, saved the NPC... or he's like... a snow golem in disguise... Snow golems have immunity to non magic attacks.... Like, collectively there's some 150 monsters that could tank a nuke.
Adding onto this: Most golems are immune to non magical attacks. Meaning if Mr Cheddar is made of cheese, then he might be classified as a golem and therefor be immune to the nuke.
Can a Lich have multiple Philacteries?
Let's get back to that bag of holding in the butt... Could be taped and be a diaper?
There is no way they would have tech or know how to build a nuke. Let alone materials.
Just remove them, they're obviously not a fun or good person
Tiamat.
I volenteered to be the DM in my group ( non of us had ever played so i was learning as i went.) I actually read most of the 3 core rule books amd spent a lot of time watching lore videos and other dms playing. We get together maybe 2 or 3 times a year tobppay for a few hours. I realise that im the only one that has the time or will to DM, i enjoy it tho. I also enjoy just rrading the books idk if im alone in that but My friends make me feel like a wizard for knowing things.
"Atoms are immutable. The strong and weak nuclear forces do not exist in this realm but electromagnetism does so chemistry / alchemy works but atoms cannot be split and if they were no extra energy is released." Done and done.
WotC are liches and their phylactery are the rule books of DnD
My group has three dms and sometimes we fight over who get to run a campaign next
I’m lucky that almost everyone in my group wants to DM and we switch every campaign, it’s my turn at the moment and then the host will probably be the next DM, they’re already working on building a campaign idea
Azithromycin, the macrolide antibiotic? Are the players Mycoplasma pneumoniae?
The cleansing fires of Azithromycin will decide
Yeah heard that too and alprazolam aka commonly named xanax
Just got to drop another sun on them to fully cook. But the real fun is rolling all the dice at once then counting them, don't worry your silly little head that it would be faster and more accurate to calculate with statical averages. We need the thunder! 🎲
I ran a campaign that used a haunted mansion as the phylactery for a Halloween game
Our power of friendship was moon beam, witg a fighter, monk, and martial warlock surrounding a guy
Sorcerer: Turns the BBEG into a chicken Fighter: Holds open the Bag of Devouring Rogue: Runs around trying to catch the BBEC Yes, it would make more sense to turn the BBEG into something that couldn't run away. No, we never did.
Fairly certain that's dean from supernatural.... ducking knew it 😂
“Still want that nuke?” YES
I need this... I desperately want to play a character... _voice rises_ _takes a deep breath_ *_DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY DEPRESSING BACKSTORYS I'VE MADE?! GUESS HOW MANY I WILL NEVER GET TO USE?! ALL OF THEM!! I WILL NEVER GET TO USE ANY OF THEM!!_*
How about donating towards charities HERE in the USA instead??? We need to take care of our own first before foreign nations.
I do something were when the lich dies there phylactery turn into a cr 16 boss for the player to fight and if they can't beat it in a 15 to 20 turns the lich comes back and the phylactery becomes dorment aging
