Analyzing Knee's Defensive Playstyle - Evo 2022 Tekken 7
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.2 года назад
I got lazy with the editing near the end otherwise this video would never come out. There's a couple of things i forgot to mention and what i do mention isn't applying 100% of the time because fighting game players are human, and Khan probably deserves his own video with how he was able to deal with Knee's defense. But i'm proud of this.

I got lazy and reused every single clip at least once. I haven't found a good comprehensive guide on how to use movement for offense and defense so i tried summarizing the concepts here.

Overcoming Intermediate Level Tekken

heya, i read through your written guide and found it super insightful. obviously it was written with t7 in mind, but I was wondering if, for the "what do I do now" section, there was an alternative set of strings to replace the kazumi ones? or if the section still works without them.

This video is amazing at explaining high-level defense. I've never come across anything as good as this. Thank you so much. If it's okay to request something, then I'd love to see you set up these moves in the lab in T8 and practice fuzzy guarding it like you do in this video. That would be incredible. Anyway, great content! I hope to see more.

It’s great stuff, really! Thanks for that! However, I do believe it should be further expanded. If you have the time, please turn this one into a 20 min long video with more examples. To me, that was the most important part of the vid as I’m more visual, so let’s say you’d be catering to more learning types by talking and exemplifying further into the concept. Of course, people that already know what you mean will get slightly bored. Despite being decent as a fg player, I feel I play very little with my timing, so it’s very very useful for me to spend some more time digesting this golden lesson. Thanks a bunch, and I hope you keep making those up!

Thank you, and i'd really love to! I'm not super happy with the editing and this subject is way deeper than what a video of this length could cover. Unfortunately due to health problems and work, my energy levels are so bad it was either i half-ass it or the video never gets made. I hope i can make cooler things one day 🙏

I'll have to watch is again in the future as most of the things just do not stick for now, but it is very rare to actually watch a video with such an advance concept, thanks for taking the time to make it. Feedback on the audio please either bring the background music volume down ( way down) or just don't have it as the specific range of your voice clashes with it and makes it hard to follow, and when each sentence is packed with so much information it just sounds like noise when combined with the music ( granted english is not my primary lang so there is that).

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand John Tekken. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.

Tekken is the most complex fighting game ever, coming from Street Fighter I'm having a lot of difficult figuring out attacks, in 2D games you either block high or low and overheads are very slow moves and each character has 1 or 2, in Tekken somes highs are indistinguishable from mids, duck is a "block" option and each character has a move set with 100+ moves. It'll definitely take a lot of time to learn.
