Gabriel Urbain Fauré (12 May 1845 - 4 November 1924) was a French composer, organist, pianist and teacher. He was one of the foremost French composers of his generation, and his musical style influenced many 20th-century composers. Among his best-known works are his Pavane, Requiem, Sicilienne, nocturnes for piano and the songs "Après un rêve" and "Clair de lune". This is a beautiful piece. How come most of the triple and double stops in the Viola were not played? That's the one thing I was most disappointed about in this performance.

Gerd Reinke is spectacular. I have all of his books. In the nineties he almost came to play in Amazonas in the orchestra I played in. A shame, I would really like to have taken classes with him.

Verdi, RAVEL, Prokofiev 😍 Равеля я обожаю, так удивился что есть соло для контрабаса. Гениальный композитор. И больше удивился что в известной опере "Риголетто" есть соло для контрабаса! А Прокофьев так вообще красавчик💪 Крутое соло

Imo this is way better than bottesinis duo concerto for violin and double bass. That one is good but a bit too chaocic and wonky for me to like. This piece soends really nice and shows off both instruments perfectly. Personally i like dominik wagners recording more but i cant hate on edicson ruiz lol
