Sorry to hear about Dad. Good luck with all your plans. I love all your projects 😊
💜💜💜
Great to see you back! Love your full coverage focus! Do you use pattern keeper?
@@penningtonterrace Hi! Thank you 😀 Yes.. I do use Pattern Keeper for my full coverage stitching. I don’t know if I would be able to do them with a paper copy. When I first started doing FC I used Goodnotes to mark off my stitches… but PK was a game changing 😀 If I stitch non FC now I miss PK… 😂 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
Great video, looking forward to watching your progress!
@@vickiereno1665 hello! Thank you 🥰 Fingers crossed there will be lots of progress to show next time 😉 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
You can read my mind Leonie: last weekend I had a very strong feeling you had to make a video. So glad to see you back. So sorry you lost your dad in a very short time 😢 Loved to see your stitching and hearing your plans for 2025. I’m here for the cheering. Hope you’ll make videos on a regular basis from now on (I know once a year is regular too 😂) Have a wonderful year 😘
@@kittyvanpeer9382 Hello! Great minds think alike 😆 Thank you…. 🥰 Losing Dad was not something we thought would happy just yet… but you never know when these things are going to happen I will try my hardest to do fortnightly videos…. Hopefully I will have enough stitching to make it worth your while to watch…. You can always laugh at me reaching for the stars and falling back to earth with a thud 🤪 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
@ Losing a parent is a hard thing and certainly when it’s kinda unexpected. Hugs. What about you and filming your videos: you can only do your best 😉
Lovely to see you back Noni & seeing all your plans for 2025 we have missed you. Hopefully you can do a video every 2 weeks so we can see your progress on some of your beautiful WIP’s as I love watching them xx
@@cheryllamming9062 Hi! Thank you 🥰 That is so kind of you… I am going to try my hardest to do an update every 2 weeks going forward… they won’t be as long as the WIP parade 🤣 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
Lovely to see you back Leonie. Sorry to hear about your dad - it must have been such a shock to you all. And down-sizing as well…… we’re contemplating that too at the end of this year…… I hope 2025 is a peaceful & uneventful year for you and that you enjoy your stitching and reach some of those lofty goals! Lesley
@@lesleyandbobmaxwell5763 Hello! Yep… it was a huge shock (not sure I have come out of shock yet…) Down-sizing is a huge task, but so rewarding at the end… although I do sort of wish we had more room to keep some of the stuff we got rid off… but them that wouldn’t have been down-sizing and would have defeated the purpose 🤣 Fingers crossed I can achieve some of my goals… I know it’s a lot but if I don’t reach them there is always next year 😆 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
So nice to see you again. Your full coverage pieces are so colorful❤so sorry for the loss of your loved ones.
@@shellycampis6226 Hi! Thank you… and thank you for the kind thoughts. I’m hoping that 2025 does not through us any curve balls…. Be nice to have a quiet year 😛 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
So glad to see a video from you! You have some amazing goals and wips.
@@aussiestitcher1699 hi! Thank you… 🥰 Thought I’d better get off my behind and do a video… just as well I didn’t show all of my WIPs that I should be stitching on (especially all of those Mira’s) I might never have got it uploaded… 🤣 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
Great to see you again! I'm so sorry for the losses in your family. ❤
@@tiffanypincombe4939 hello! Thank you🥰 Did you notice I’m still trying to finish that WIP I started years ago on that lovely fabric you sent me… this year it will be finished 😂 Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
@stitchingnoni I did wonder if it was the same, it's the only chromatic alchemy fabric you have I think. 😁 You'll get there! ❤️
@ yep… correct it’s the only piece I have from Chromatic Alchemy 😝
Great to see you back 💖 so sorry for your losses 💖 I love playing siskies games too, love her group
Thank you 😍Appreciate your kind words/thoughts! Siskie has the most amazing imagination for cross stitch games... I love her group! Thank you for watching... 💖
Love that mistress of the hunt. Those definitely count as roses! Good work!
Thank you! Mistress of the Hunt is definitely going to get a lot more work in 2024… I did neglect her in 2023 😢
Great video. Cannot wait to hear your plans for next year!
Thanks Vickie 😊 Plans video coming next week hopefully… just have to stop rethinking them 😂
Congrats on your finishes! Have a nice and fun festive month ❤
Thank you Kitty 😊 Hard to believe we are nearly halfway through the first month of 2024… already this year is quick out of the starting gate 🤭
@@stitchingnoni I know what you mean. i can hardly believe I’m already 2 months into my new job 😳
Awesome finishes! Happy stitching
Thank you 😍
Glad you talked about the easy grid fabric! I'm thinking of starting my first HAED next year and have been looking at the easy grid. I've never used gridding before myself so I plan to buy a piece and give it a try. The Sunflower Diaries monthly pieces are still so cute as they were when the designer first released them. The Coffee piece is gorgeous 🥰
Thank you 😍 It’s interesting how I feel about the easy guide… I have 2 more, much smaller WIPs going on it now and it’s not as bad to stitch on or maybe I’m just getting used to it…. I still prefer ungridded 25ct for my full coverage, and once I’ve used all my easy guide I don’t think I will buy it again… I noticed that the Snowflower Dairies are starting to appear more in my FB feed over the last few months so I think that new people are starting to discover the designs, plus Maja has started putting out a lot of new designs recently, which is fantastic to see 😊
🎄🎄🎄
🎄🎄🎄🎄
I really love your Peacock Lady finish and have her in my stash to do one day. I have a couple of questions and not sure which video I watched of yours, so thought I would leave a comment here on your latest video. Why didn't you like the 25 count gridded lugana, as compared to just using the plain 25 lugana? What is the difference apart from the grid lines? Also, with having so many HAED wips, do you purchase the threads for each one or work from a master set? If purchasing threads for each project, what method of storage do you like to use to keep everything organised? Thank you 🙂
Thank you 😊 She does look amazing when she’s done 😊 I have uploaded a video today and I thought I’d answer your question on my video, but I will also answer it here in case you see this before you watch video 54 😊 I can’t really explain why I’m not keen on 25ct easy guide but it may be because I’m not used to stitching with grid lines… I find the gridlines can be off-putting and not really a help to me. I’m sure if I stitched on it more often I’d get used to it… but I must admit I do just prefer the non gridded 25ct. Also something I have only just thought of is that it might be the project as well… Mistress of the Hunt II is not a HAED and the symbols are so different to a HAED that it takes me awhile to get into that one… even with Pattern Keeper showing me the symbols. Yes, I do kit up each HAED with its own set of floss. I have always kitted up my projects with floss and I did exactly the same for my first HAED and that worked.. so I continue to do it now for all of them 🤭 I store all of the project threads in a box of its own with each floss in a small zip lock bag. So far that works… but as I get more full coverage projects I might have to rethink.. maybe I might need to put 2 projects per box as they do take up a lot of room 😊 Thank you for watching and for asking your questions - it was great to be able to answer a question on my video 🤭🥰
Just caught up, haven’t been watching Flosstube in a while. Love all you finishes but peacock is just stunning! What a finish! And you did a me and not have the beads 😂 We are going to be in the 40’s all week if your looking for heat 😅
Thank you 😊 Peacock Lady is gorgeous… so pleased I stuck with her and got her done this year 😊 I must admit I’ve been a bit hit and miss lately with watching Flosstube as well… I was trying to catch up on older videos that I have missed, but now I’m going to just start watching the latest ones… 😂
Great video - I thought I was the one person who does not like the easy grid fabric. I just started leg 9, I thought it would be much shorter and would have more free time in December to get ready for WIP Warriors 2024. I am have everything for Haunted House, just need time to organize it!
Thank you 😍 I must admit I thought Leg 9 would be shorter as well. I am not sure how I will go as I don’t have a lot of the items in my WIPs that will give me some of those stitch count deductions being offered.. Can only do what we can do! I need to order some fabric this week and then work out what threads I need but I will be ready to start it as soon as we can do starts… Given the WIP Warriors group opens up to new people next weekend it may be that the end of the 2023 year will come sooner than the end of the Travel Leg. I might see if I can find out from the Admins when the 2023 year is due to end…
Love the Haed purchases. They are so beautiful but I sure wish they didn’t take so long to stitch. The Peacock lady is beautiful. Happy stitching!😊
Thank you 😍 I agree… full coverage designs are amazing but they do take so long to stitch… I definitely have way more HAEDs than I will ever stitch in my lifetime but collecting charts is also a hobby, right? 😂
@@stitchingnoni oh yes. Collecting charts is a hobby all on its own as is all the accessories. 😊
Peacock Lady is gorgeous. Joan Elliot is my favorite for ladies faces. Congratulations!
Thank you 😊 Peacock Lady is a gorgeous design but I haven’t seen many other people stitching her, which is a shame. Joan’s ladies always look lovely and serene 😊
Congrats on finishing Peacock Lady, Ive always loved seeing your progress on her, Im planning on rejoining Wip Warriors again when they open up.....and looking forward to seeing your plans for next year....enjoy your stitching, Leonie ❤
Thank you 😊 WIP Warriors is going to be opening up really soon… look forward to seeing you back in the group again 😊🥰
Congratulations on the big finish - looks so much better complete!😂 maybe you need to bite the bullet & finish “faces”......just think how pleased you’ll be with yourself!......will definitely be time to reward yourself with new starts and stash :)
Thank you 😊 I think you’re right about Faces! Depending on how I go this month with Coffee Saves Lives I think Faces might just have to come out and get finished by the end of the year! If I say here it has to come true, right? 🤭😂
@@stitchingnoni 😂
Congrats on the finish of your awesome Peacock Lady! Nice progresses you’ve made on the other ones. Loved to see all the beautiful floss and fabrics. Please make Mini Paris Morning as a new start too. I also have that one and love her so, so much 🥰 That one by Dona Gelsinger is also one of my favourites. Don’t have that one in my stash: it would be in the ‘no, never gonna start it’ pile 😂 See you next time. Happy stitching
Thank you 😊 I am so pleased to have finished Peacock Lady… it was a labour of love but very pleased it’s done 🤣 Maybe we can start Mini Paris Morning together 🤭 Thank you for watching 😊
@@stitchingnoni it’s always a pleasure to finally finish a piece after such a long time working on it. I hardly stitch nowadays so starting a new thing isn’t going to happen soon I guess. I’m more into diamond painting: it has become an addiction the last couple of months. It is due to the Letters of Fortune event that I finally picked up my Temperature Butterflies of LAST year again. I really have to finish that one before another year gone by. Time really flies!
@@kittyvanpeer9382 I tried my hand at diamond painting and really enjoyed it… I think it could easily become another addiction so for now I’m staying away from it 😂
@@stitchingnoni I understand you stay away from it: once you’ve started one and like it, look around what nice stuff there is out there, you’re addicted 😂😂😂 At the moment I have a balance: one day stitching, next day diamond painting, stitching, diamond painting and so on. That’s doable 😁 I love the idea that you tried it and hope you keep going on!
Gorgeous WIPS. Love love love your full coverages ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊 I may be a glutton for punishment but I have a couple more full coverage designs lined up for a start in December 🤣
Can’t believe I missed you posted this video 🙈 You’ve done some great stitching in the last couple of months. Of course I like to see lovely fabrics so please show them another time. Happy stitching
Your wish is my command 🤭 just uploading a new update and I am showing the Jodyri fabrics I have received so far this year 😊
@@stitchingnoni Yes! I’m going to stitch for letters of fortune so I can watch your video right away🥰
Hi Leonie, lovely to sit and stitch while watching your flosstube yesterday, good luck with your focus pieces for this month and I'm still in awe of your haeds......I'll get back to mine eventually but loving those balloons in cat race, and quarantine cats is still a favourite too....I've even bought PK for my tablet so I'll get there eventually 😊 Your needleminders from Inchworm designs are absolutely gorgeous....I found her late last year I think and I've bought a few....want to buy more but I'm resisting at the moment...need to find somewhere more stable to live at the moment after everything earlier this year Anyway, take care and look forward to your next update (sorry for the ramble🤦♀️) Bronwynne❤
I hope all is starting to settle down for you 😊 Guess what… I think I will have some more HAEDs on the go by the end of the year 🫣 Slowly getting my plans ready for 2024… not quite sure yet what to focus on yet so stay tuned 🤣 I must say using PK for my full coverage is a game changer… so happy I bit the bullet and bought the new tablet so I could use it 😊
Thanks for keeping me company while I stitch! All those BAPs though, I'm trying to whittle mine down a bit. Love Peacock Lady. I'm still working through the Faces SAL from Joan, hopefully a finish next year.
Hi Jo! I still have the Faces SAL sitting in the WIP box 😞 I really should bring it out and finish it… maybe now I’m done with Peacock Lady I might be able to bring myself to stitch on it!! 😊😂
Good luck with Peacock Lady - now you’ve changed out that devil’s thread it will be better! Lovely stitching as ever...
Hi Lesley! Thank you 😊 Peacock Lady is done…. Update is going up now and I show that gorgeous lady all finished in the video 😊
I've bought a samsung tablet specifically for PK....have downloaded it but havent used it as yet.....Im stitching but its still sporadic just lately. Im sure once you get your Gus stand you will be so happy with it....which one are you looking at purchasing? I have all three 🤦♀️ and wouldnt be without them Love your update video and hopefully you (and I😅) get some more stitches in, take care Leonie Bronwynne ❤
I love PK so much! I'm glad it's been a good investment so far
Hi Tiff Yep… definitely PK is a good investment…. I now wonder what I did without it for those BAPs…. Generally I am happy stitching off paper charts but I will at some have a play around and see what else I can load into PK… my little techy brain wants to know more about it now and how it works 😝
Funny, I thought about you the other day and not much later I saw your uploaded video 🥰 Congrats on your finished pieces. They are beautiful. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi Kitty Thank you 😊 You must be telepathic and sending me thoughts across the airwaves to do an update video 🤭
Great finishes & progress…… I’ve just bought a Lenovo tablet for the same reason…..I.e. Pattern Keeper for the two HAEDs languishing in my stash…. I’m also looking at Markup-RXP which seems as if it might be more versatile with non-HAEDs…..not sure…
Hi Lesley! Thank you 😊 I also looked at Markup but decided against it as they seem to now charge an annual fee… I think you’re right there is probably more versatility in Markup for non compatible PDFs but to be honest I am quite happy stitching off a paper chart most of the time anyway so PK is a good solution for me for those BAPs that I have started to collect 🤭
First time finding your channel. I’m struggling right now with too many WIPs and thought your idea of pulling out smaller projects like a tissue was great! You pull one out and work on it until you are done. As for the tree project that was off my one it’s not noticeable at all. I was watching another flosstuber the other day and she said it’s what makes your project unique. But seriously, you can’t see a difference. Looking forward to seeing your future progress ~ elisa
Hi Elisa, thank you for subscribing and for leaving your lovely comment! Good news is that project is now finished and I left it as it was 😊😉 Now to dig into that tissue box and find another WIP to get finished! I wish I could claim the tissue box way of working as my idea but it wasn’t… it did come from somewhere on Flosstube but I can’t remember who first used the idea, but it is a great way to whittle down those WIPs 😊
Great finish on Raven! Yes, for SSS, it was the Stitching Games. 😁
Thank you 😊 I knew it was for something like that but couldn’t quite remember exactly what it was 🤭
Love seeing your WIP parade! You do such a wonderful job keeping track of your WIPs! Lovely stitching, thanks for sharing and be well!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😊 I felt a bit disorganised doing that video so it’s good to know it didn’t come across too disorganised 😂 I just have to be organised enough now to do another update at the end of the month and keep up the momentum of regular updates 🤭 Take care, hugs x
Love seeing all of your progress and projects! You really see a difference when you focus on 10 projects! Your finishes are gorgeous. ❤
Thank you Tonya 😊I have almost become a monogamous stitcher who would have thought that would happen?!? 😉🤣 I do miss the variety that being able to use all of my WIPs gave me… but I am really enjoying just focusing on one WIP during the week and something different on the weekends. I guess we all change in our outlook on things and I think in a way that is what is happening with my stitching. It also has a lot to do with limited time after work these days and no brain power to think about what to stitch on 🤣🤣 Thanks for stopping by! hugs xx
WOW you are getting a lot of finishes! Great video
Thanks Vickie! Fingers crossed I have another finish or two before I do my next update 😉😊
Always lovely to see you again. The Focus X is working great for you! I did seriously consider it but then I wouldn't have been able to do my Longest Day Marathon and that's more important to me. I have some different plans for next which will hopefully involve lots of finishes! Love the Nora pieces here, I stitched Raven myself, she's probably my favourite of the Bewitching Pixies.
Hi Jo! I love that you are still doing your longest day marathon each year 😊 Seeing you give those WIPs all that love in one day each year is such fun, and an real inspiration to get old WIPs out and give them some love myself… I am enjoying the progress I’m getting on my WIPs by limiting them to 10… not sure yet what I will do next year but I am tempted to do this again if it’s still part of the WIP Warriors options 😊 Raven is gorgeous and she was actually quite easy to finish in the end. Now I just need to finish Peacock Lady and maybe I might be brave and bring out Faces of JE 😂🥴 Thanks for dropping by xx
All of your HAEDs look wonderful! I'm not that brave to tackle one😆good to see you back with a video. I like what you stitch.
Thank you! 😊 I always thought I couldn’t do a HAED… but then I started my first one and I was hooked 😂
I love seeing your stitching, finishes or wips.
Thank you 😊
👓👓👓💙
Thank you for stopping by 😊
Hi Noni, Im positive I commented yesterday anyhow, loved watching your video and loved seeing all your progress...especially your Haeds❤ the detail in them is amazing I lost my husband to suicide back in February on my daughters 14th birthday so my stitching has taken a bit of a nosedive.....slowly picking it back up again, I was in Wip warriors road trip too but had to drop out but hopefully next year I can do it again.....When i get my haed out again is it okay if i ask you a couple of questions about your stitching method with it? Its just really intrigued me 😊 take care and enjoy your stitching Bronwynne ❤❤ xx
Hi Bronwynne, I am so very sorry to hear about your husband 😢 what a devastating thing to happen to you and the family 😥 I’m certainly no expert when it comes to HAED’s… but I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about how I stitch my HAEDs 😊😊 Take care of yourself, hugs xx
Good to see you back again. Was already wondering how you’re doing. Love all your progress. Congrats on all the beautiful finishes. I like especially the Teenie Weenie ones 🥰
Thank you 😊 I adore the little Weenie designs. I have a couple more to stitch yet… so stay tuned as there might be one started at the end of the year 🤭🤭 Hopefully I will get back with another update quicker than the last one, although I won’t have quite as much to show next time 😂
@@stitchingnoni Ooh, can’t wait to see what your next one will be! No problem: I just wait (im)patiently for your next video 😜
Lovely to see you again Leonie & all your wonderful finishes & WIP and look forward to your next flosstube Happy stitching x
Thank you for stopping by 😊
So many finishes Noni! I really like the way you’ve planned them out and scheduled in your WIPS. Pattern Keeper will change your stitchy life! You will get through your HAEDS quicker and i definitely enjoy stitching my full coverages more with it! 😊
Thank you 😊 I am thinking about PK quite seriously but just not sure what tablet to get to use it with without spending a small fortune 😂 I have heard mixed reviews about the other program for marking up charts so not sure if it’s worth paying for that one or just making the leap to PK! Thank you for the note about PK… appreciate your thoughts and it’s more tick for getting PK 🤭😊
@@stitchingnoni - I was the same too! I waited until I found a sale at JB HI FI and haven’t looked back.
@@penningtonterrace that sounds like a very good idea! 😂
