In the second example of weight loss. Colin makes an emotional connection but he is also using Weapons of Influence that Dr Robert Cialdini mentions in his book Influence. People listen to others that are similar to them, Colin made him likable by sharing his example of how he used to be and how others can relate to his story. Colin uses his results to demonstrate credibility and authority by showing them that his weight loss program worked on him and how it can work for everyone else. Moreover, he makes a strong emotional connection of showing people that he cares about others towards the end when he said he wanted to do the same for others and help them.

Does not explain the most effective marketing trick I know: triple the price + announce 50% sales. People do not like it on emotional level, it has no credibility and no reason. Works every time. Even if if you tell every customer what are you doing it still works.

I can relate to almost everything you have said. My amazement of computers was also very intense. ZX Spectrum, of course. ChatGPT is a super booster of my creativity. Using it daily helps to make more money. But I need way more out of it! I need to build AI workers! So many ideas are in my head, but AGI is needed for all those things. ChatGPT is just a single brain support, an extension. The only problem with ChatGPT: frequent hallucinations. AGI will be an external worker, who you can hire for a few bucks. Well, it will be like that maybe only in the beginning, before huge taxations, but those who will be the first will make a lot of money. AGI is my dream. Human workers are just too slow, expensive, moody, unreliable, unpredictable, lazy and overall disappointing. 🙃

Hi Colin, you deserve more viewers. I have an inspiration for you. Would you show us how to set up daily conversation with GPT, so that AI will teach elementary school kids by talking with them? I want my kids to learn english (we are Czechs). They have only two hours of english at school, which is obviously not enough. ChatGPT can conversate pretty well, but I have to assist all the time. And kids are confused and too shy. There must be some way how to set it so they would be interested to talk with it and also the agent would introduce new and new words and themes, like at school. But maybe I'm too optimistic with AI. I don't know.
