This was the Fight to Win Tournament, Texas State Championships Men's 18-29 165lb White belt. My performance could have been better, but I had a lot of fun and a great time with the team!

Maripo Labowski dude I had my first competition today 2 months in took 4th place . I know it’s a long journey and yes they were borderline blue belts one had 3 stripes

That crotch grap is not normal its cheating. I would be very angry. Your movement looks great what my advise for you would be is start drilling armbars wristlocks anklelocks triangles and escapes. In my gym you can only join a competition when you have tree tripes as a white belt thats for safety and enjoyment of taking part at competitions
